hello party people. i wanted to make a version of this song with me singing vocoded to the main instrument to have singing while also hiding how bad my singing is, but instead i eventually settled on transforming it into a more jazzier tune due to the swinginess of it. its dying for weird chord reharmonizations and extra transitional chords inbetween. i guess since the shadowguys sound like saxophones you could count them as singing it? the lyrics are lost, though...

Made for The Legend of Lasso'in, a 2D cowboy lasso game which is my team's submission for the GMTK GameJam 2025! We unfortunately didn't have time to finish the game, but that's how Cowboy Shows go, I guess. We really liked the concept and level design we came up with though so we might make a post-jam version.

We're doing movie scoring in music class, and a scene had someone playing a video game resembling Mega Man. I probably should have just used music from Mega Man, but instead I made a full length (not accurate to NES hardware) chiptune for a scene that lasts like 20 seconds.
