While the scene in San Diego might be dominated by the sound of tech house lately, there are a number of artists who continue to break the mold to bring something fresh and exciting. One of those artists who is quickly making a name for herself is SORAYA, who first jumped behind the decks and the age of 17 and hasn't looked back since.

The past two years have seen SORAYA continue to grow as a DJ as she's taken over crowds at venues around San Diego such as Bang Bang, Firehouse, Spin Nightclub, and more, while also playing exclusive house parties in Palm Springs during Coachella. Bucking the trend of others in the scene, she uses a dynamic range of influences that stem from the experience she's gained working in different facets of the music industry since she was young.
