Suddenly we are enveloped by its shimmer - it is everywhere. Your hand feels so heavy in mine. Our ears ring with a sound we have never heard before - perhaps one we should never have heard. In the afterglow we find ourselves on a rocky shoreline...

Frames, my first release as Katahimikan, is a 4 tracks EP I composed during my Christmas holidays in 2014, which gave me the opportunity to explore new areas of my passion, and, being far from my studio, have an extreme minimalistic approach. 

Almost every sound you hear has been created sampling 4 of my own past tracks, so each one is the reflection of a track from my past, which leads to something completely different. 

This is the 3rd track: Faith.

This track is part of my Katahimikan release, "Rewind".

Rewind is about going backwards, which could also mean going back in time. I processed most layers of every track using different kinds of gramophone simulations, to have as a result, a broken lo-fi effect reminiscent of old audio machines.
