Minimal basslines, plucked sequences, reverbered arpeggios and glitched drums: that’s what "Need a Name" soul was made of, and still is.

Completely based on electronic sound design and affected by all the details which marked its very own fingerprint, the journey with Need a Name starts again as another side project.

This first release is a 4-track EP which is deeply inspired by the very first Need a Name albums, such as "Sizzling Plucks" and "What You Were, What I’ve Become”, to bring back what really made it special.

Need a Name - Hereafter

This track is very special for me, it was originally created in 2007 and since then from time to time I was thinking about remaking and remastering it. Finally, I did it this year and will include in my fifth album. Most instruments were changed and effects added, though the main melody is almost intact. 

The title changed from "Galaxy" to "Galaxies" to differentiate from the original one, which you can hear on my YouTube channel, the only place I still keep my "oldies".
