"Woodlock" comprises of three band members, two brothers Zech & Eze Walters on guitars and Bowen Purcell on percussion. Woodlock plays a cool mix of alternative acoustic rock styles, covers of old tunes with a Woodlock “twist” and some fairly thought provoking original stuff.

On a trip to Africa when the boys were working together with young people and orphans in Uganda, they started to form the idea of Woodlock. Zech and Eze developed their music just growing up together but their close friendship with Bowen grew out of performing together in Uganda and realising they sounded good.

Woodlock continued to grow when the idea of a road-trip busking around Australia fired their imagination and so Woodlock was formed. The boys plan to begin their travels around Australia in late April and have been busy polishing their sound. They’ve got old songs, new songs and are writing even newer ones.

Woodlock busks on the streets of Yarrawonga; they gig at the local Ski Club in Mulwala, at birthdays, weddings and formal and informal functions. 


Currently studying a bachelor of audio production at Collarts, Melbourne.

Red Ink are an Australian band based on The Mornington Peninsula south of Melbourne.
We’ve been touring, writing and recording for close to a decade. In that time, we’ve played a thousand shows, written as many songs, recorded in some of the most amazing studios, slept in hundreds of hotel rooms, tour vans and hostels… We love music and that very passion has taken us some crazy places… Recently on a tour of mainland Europe, we laid our roots in Berlin and wrote/recorded our debut album. We’ve released EP’s in the past, but this record is something altogether different. It’s our baby. We’ve never been so proud to have a body of work and we’re emotionally and physically attached to the project.
Upon meeting with Aussie-turned-Berlin based producer Simon Berckelman, we’d found the final piece of the puzzle. We’ve been preparing to release this record for a long time and we’re so excited to finally have a release date in sight.

The band’s journey has been a somewhat chaotic one.. Aren’t they all?
With a number of the bands singles receiving national and international airplay, the we’ve clocked up close to a quarter of a million views on YouTube alone. With virtually no budget and definitely no label support.

An independent band running on the smell of an oily rag. The way it should be.

We don’t hold onto delusions of grandeur. We’re not looking to be the ‘next big thing’.. We’ve been there. We’ve been wined and dined and promised the stars but at the end of it all; none of that matters. 

All that matters is the art. And whether WE love it. And we do.
To sell a hundred records, or a hundred thousand wont change that! 
Ten years has taught us that.
