Ije Amaechi is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Watford with Nigerian and English heritage. On February 14th she released her debut single 'Loved and Lost', a song set to lift those winter blues, saying it’s okay to end a relationship that’s not working anymore. 

Some of her influences include Rnb, soul, folk and West African music including the likes of Erykah Badu, Corinne Bailey Rae, Tracey Chapman and Fatoumata Diawara. She fell in love with storytelling through song-writing from an early age where she would write short songs and poems during long family car journeys to the seaside. 

Launching into the world of music with gorgeous harmonies, relatable lyrics, and caramel sweet vocals, you'll be left anticipating what’s next on the horizon... 

Ije's next single 'Breathe' is out on Friday 27th March 2020
