We are treated to three original productions exploring somewhat deeper and more musical soundscapes; starting things off with the title track 'Silvia's Calling’. This is a tasty slab of electronica with its ambient long-building intro that's seriously infectious while building suspense, and broken beats drop in to add groove, while tinkly and haunting piano tones lock in your mind reminiscent of some finer moments from the Eye-Q back catalog; unpinned by a epic choir-like female vocal; a true work of beauty and art. Its hit the Top #10 in electronica hype chart on Beatport.

Next up, is the wonderfully breathtaking 'Leia' which is already featured by Beatport as ‘Weekend Pick’ and ‘Best New Progressive House’. Here, we peek into a dreamy, hazy soundscape of magical musicality. Timeless smiley vibes creep in effortlessly while warm tones delicately wobble and dance across a gently evolving gem of a track but with a tripped-out slant. Dancefloor Romancer are premiering the track on 14th December (link tbc).

Picking up the energy is 'Curious Of Humble'. This melancholic beauty is a sensual affair that packs a serious punch. A fusion of timeless chord progressions and fresh production, with dirty tweaks unfurls before our eyes and ears.

The much loved Artche steps up on remix duties of 'Silvia's Calling' to complete the EP. His work on Anjunadeep, Oddity, Pryda and ATLANT and with Cristoph, OC & Verde and Franky Wah has created serious waves these last few years chalking up four Beatport #1’s; he’s the perfect choice for this re-work. Taking things straight to the Dancefloor, this punchy yet spacious remix really utilizes key elements from the original, but brings some mind-melting dancefloor sensibilities to proceedings, delivering yet another outstanding club masterpiece. This has been recognised by Beatport with a feature with inclusion in ‘Ones To Watch for 2023’.'

Clubsonica Records opens the month of March by unveiling the fifth edition of their Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, fitting nicely alongside the MMW and ADE showcases which operate under a similar ethos. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but continues to add some of progressive music's most notable names with each successive edition. Genre veterans Golan Zocher, Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels, Ruben Karapetyan, amongst others, have all graced Clubsonica's much sought after Sampler Series, sitting alongside a carefully curated blend of talented up and comers. Now embarking on their fifth edition, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most comprehensive volume to date.

The first selection is Erich Von Kollar. Much like many progressive house producers, the Debrecen resident has recently revitalized his career with a string of organic-focused productions via Amulanga and Nordic Voyage. With a well-received release via Ruben Karapetyan's RKP imprint to begin the year, Erich now makes his Clubsonica debut with the smooth hypnotic sounds of ‘Vertical Maze'. 

Selection two finds NAHS alongside Martin Fredes. On the backing of support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Argentinean duo have become household names in the global progressive house scene over the last half decade. With a sound that incorporates a perfect balance of melody, groove and rhythm, NAHS and Martin have racked up impressive resumes in the process, with standout releases via Mango Alley, Plattenbank, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden sitting prominently on their respective discographies. 

The collection's third offering is Nic Rinaldi. Hailing from Colombia, Nic Rinaldi first emerged in 2021 with a release via Madloch's Future Avenue. The next two calendar years would see Nic continue to develop his sound, adding projects with 3rd Avenue and MNL to his discography. Also well regarded as a DJ, Nic has been a fixture of his country's nightlife since 2017, sharing the booth with international talents such as Kevin Di Serna, Oliver Koletzki, Quivver and local heroes such as Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez. Now continuing to trend on an upwards trajectory, Nic adds Clubsonica to his resume with the rejuvenating energies and trance-inspired melodies of ‘Night Rider'. 

Next up and is Sensy with ‘Masquerade'. The Ibiza resident's impeccable selections and ability to seamlessly program Organic, Progressive, and Melodic House & Techno into his storytelling sets, is what has ultimately set him apart from other local DJs. Renowned venues such as Carpe Diem, City Hall, Pacha, La Terrazza, amongst others, have played host to Sensy's unique amalgamation of sound. As a producer, Sesys is at the beginning of his journey, with a 2023 release on Amber Long's Modern Architect sitting as his lone debut offering. Continuing to work on his production craft, Sensy now opens his 2024 schedule with his Clubsonica debut ‘Masquerade', a track which incorporates the nostalgic sounds of old school progressive house with a timeless vibe throughout. 

The final selection welcomes TAYLAN with ‘Sonoma'. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, TAYLAN would go on a creative swell across the next two calendar years, landing key projects via Beatfreak, Manual Music, Steyoyoke and more, making him a rising talent to watch going forward. Increasingly prolific in the years to follow, TAYLAN's sound caught the attention of long standing imprints such as Movement Recordings and Univack, which further established his elusive sound.
