Time To Wake Up

Whenever I am making music, I am mostly just playing around with melodies and sounds, far away from finishing a track. Most of these sessions you will never hear, it’s like jamming musicians in the studio, it will never be released. This set is my way of collecting these sessions and show them to you. PS: Sowas wie die Mayday habe ich noch nie erlebt und so nervös war ich auch noch nie. Die ganzen großen DJs auf der Bühne, gerade zu einschüchternd :D Ist schon komisch wenn so viele Leute einen anschauen, ich habe ja schon Probleme wenn mich einer anschaut :/

I just tried to translate it bud had to find out that it looses it’s awesomeness when I do it :/

I try to explain in my own words. It is about a boy who can remember the first thing he can remember in his life at all. His mother gave him a sparkler for new years eve. Everyone was on the streets with fireworks and it was loud because of all the explosions. But he was not afraid. He was just a part of this. He hold up his little sparkler and shake it like crazy. So intense as he possibly could or even stronger. And he was so small and the sparkler too. But he experienced the biggest and best there is on earth. He experienced the biggest and most beautiful on earth and he was a part of it. He never did anything in his life again that was so gigantic. 

I choose this vocal because I love the guy! His name isI was Frank Giering. He had such a special sad way of being which I could connect with easily. He is unfortunately dead. He died way to young. 

Here is an interview of him. He is saying interesting things there. It’s german but you can get an idea of the person.

Mayday 2017

I actually just wanted to change some little things of my set I played at Nature One to prepare it for an upload. But I endet up changing almost everything. Most of the songs in this set I just could never properly finish, thats why they’re so short and do not sound 100% ready. :D All the best for you!!!

The key to finding your soulmate, lies within you, it’s called self acceptance. The journey of self acceptance is a process and during this process, your soulmate could pop up in your life at any point and time. Resolve your relations to your emotions, how does your jealousy affect you? Your mistrust, your chaotic behaviors? Or your weakness of will? Have you made peace with yourself yet? Or do you still want to improve? That means you’re not good enough for yourself yet. This feeling affects your perception and you might think you’re not good enough for someone else. The denial of one’s self tries to find a reflection of your surroundings, and there will be people who reject you. But Self acceptance can find reflections of your surroundings just as well. According to my experience, the mind develops from the initial self rejection, further to self acceptance. Through my self acceptance, my soulmate found its way to me. I didn’t look for it, even though I waited for quite some time.

Truth

There's only one obvious thing in the sound of Neelix: Relentless forward boost. Exactly how this boost is generated is not obvious at all – which makes it catchy in the most subliminal way possible. The German artist playfully incorporates elements of Progressive Trance, Progressive House and Electro. However, the actual magic of Neelix happens somewhere inbetween those genres. For 10 years already this unique formula made him a crowd-pleaser at a great variety of dance events on all 5 continents, including monumental festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland or Boom.

It's 2005 when Neelix stirs a revolution. His album 'No Way To Leave' fulfills all the expectations of the dance floor – but it does so in the most unexpected way. Within no time, party goers refer to his highly dynamic hybrid style simply as 'Neelix sound'. It's the beginning of a stellar career that keeps building and building – just like a typical Neelix track itself.
