Uncle Bob was literally the homie. :) Love you. 
I was the luckiest girl on earth, one day. 
Knowing that my uncle could speak magic, in his own way. 
I was a giggling goose,
 a schoolgirl, on the loose. 

Anything I could imagine, he had the brain to take it, and then - Bounce it right back, at you! 
No, I can't make this shit up. 
he was Crazy,
 interesting, loving, beautiful beyond, belief. '

Living a life, many people would be, scared, scared to just be.
It started when he was just little a boy. 
Young in the world, well life, it made him it's toy. 
Schizophrenia is a serious disease,
 and many don't make it 
but he did you see. 

My uncle was the justice the earth needs. 
Living his truth one day at time, in a way that was hard,
 but, he just lived.
 His heart on the line. 

Rode a vespa across the country,
 not kidding 
ya' he did
just so he could reach the ocean. 
Fishing for crab, talking about an island, 
way out at sea, a paradise just for him,
 but said he'd share it with me 

Loved his wife as she slowly died, sticking loyally by her side, living through God know what.
But the family didn't understand his luck. 

It's easy to run away from people you love just because things get rough,
 but the thing he taught me is, stick tough,
 people will Suprise with who they are.
and then you're the one with treasure....
more more more valuable by far. 

Where there was joy, he was bound to find it. 
Even when the joy was black like night. 
I got to meet my uncle bobby, and boy, he sure changed my life. 

Talking to him was like seeing the stars for the first time
wild, open, unpredictable,
 but worth is all. 
he opened the eyes of many 
to a world beyond us all

Medication after medication, but nothing would wake him, because what doctors don't know, 
is how people like us grow,
 and, he had been awake a long time already.

Even from the side of street, the yards of grief, and the joy of a native American dream catchers. 
Alive and true, he wore his color every shade of the rainbow true.
