Growing up with a father who ran a radio station is what installed an eclectic ethic in him, and it set him in goodstead from the off. For many years Dodi was core resident of some clubs in Southern Italy, where he would often spread his musical wings through funk, jazz, soul, afro, disco, house and techno for up to eight hours a night. It was an important learning curve that means he is now able to take a dance floor’s hand and lead it on an unpredictable and rewarding journey through sound that defies the usual categorisations.
He continues a standout 2021 that has seen him appear on the likes of Innervisions, Diynamic, Multinotes and more, as well as on his own label Engrave LTD. Earlier this month, Dodi Palese teamed up once again with his regular partner and Sicilian friend, Musumeci, to deliver a stunning remix for Fur Coat’s latest EP on Renaissance...

Here is my B2B set with Banxi from the Furaha launch party a few weeks back from the Fortune Of War in Brighton, UK. 
Furaha means happiness and joy, and everyone definitely found both at the party. It was a great outdoor event, playing from sunset and seeing so many happy faces made it an absolute success. In this live recorded set, we delved deep into our roots and jungle vibes, bringing the party to life with Afro and Arabic tunes.🌱🌿  

Please don’t ask for the tracklist because we were going with the flow. The sequence was like this: the first 2 tracks from me, the next 2 from Banxi, and so on, with the last one from me as well. Enjoy the journey! 🌱🌿💚
