Negative Feedback are one of the first of their kind in the modern era of alternative rock.  Having steadily ingested grunge and alternative rock music of the 90s during their upbringing, there is no question of what the building blocks for this band are. The haunting melodies of Nirvana, the woolly layered guitars of The Smashing Pumpkins, and the off-kilter, robotic riffs of early Queens of the Stone Age meld together to create something new and raw. Negative Feedback doesn't aim to follow the footsteps of these rock leviathans; rather, they aim to leave their own unapologetic path for others to stumble on. 
Currently a completely independent project from Raleigh, North Carolina, Negative Feedback is known for their grassroots approach to music production. All of their recordings are done by the band in their DIY home studio, with the mixing and mastering being crafted by the band members as well. Their first attempt at music production, Death  In Suburbia, resulted in a lo-fi rock/shoegaze sound akin to the likes of Ovlov,  Narrow Head, and They Are Gutting a Body of Water. Taking what they learned in the production of their first LP, with a special focus on the unique haunting western sound that emerged from "Arcadia Ego", Negative Feedback is building an entirely new sound that is heavy, unforgiving, and purely themselves. 

Negative Feedback is a heavily modified alternative rock weapon of mass production.
