method: bass guitar and y8 (via pog III), voice (via vt4), all three via r12, vst handbells and chimes (via samplitude) - I've kept the clipping noises without creating them intentionally: such a warm vinyl sensation emerges
narration: I've never held back with my admiration for some compositions of the combos assembling around  miles davis, herbie hancock, ron carter, joe zawinul and others who have brewed what witches and bitches concoct, in a silent way ... as simple as intricate. although their tonal, instrumental and atmospheric skills are way beyond mine - I can still have a good time trying to evoke a similar atmosphere, however comically I may fail .... the poem itself is one of those linguistic life-savers in the the more turbulent waters of existence, I hope .....

The road outside my studio is being re-surfaced. It’s very noisy so I made some recordings of it. I’m behind a high wall so I couldn’t see what was going on exactly, but there was a lot of hissing and humming. It made me think about burying sound with a noisy surface layer.

The hissing sound on the track is straight field recording of the re-surfacing.

The buzzing drone is a loop made from the re-surfacing machine hum played through bone conduction speakers. The speakers were then used to vibrate a plastic drink bottle. Two seperate recordings of this made with a contact mic, one panned hard left and one hard right.

Some organ notes, again played through a bone conduction speaker, but vibrating a bin lid.

No effects, just a tiny bit of EQing.
