Paris-based record label Nehza return with their fifth various artist compilation, enlisting a dozen forward-thinking producers to craft the most stormy forecast...For the occasion, we’ve selected ‘Heavy Breathing‘ by DJ Spit as our pick. Clocking in at four minutes, the Berlin-based producer unleashes a relentless techno-trance frenzy, combining psyched-out oscillations with echo-drenched frequencies. The track's rapid-fire kick drums and razor-sharp snares dissolve into low gravity basslines, while mid-track syncopations erupt into chaotic, rhythm-shifting breakdowns.

We're excited to release our fifth V/A, an 11-track V/A called TRANSAERE on 11th October, melding bass, breaks, techno, global sounds and lots more.

The V/A features music from worldwide talents including carin kelly, Dj Spit, Bluetoof, De Grandi, and DARK BUDA, amongst others. Each artist brings their unique perspective, contributing to a diverse and forward-thinking collection of tracks.

The concept of TRANSAERE is deeply rooted in the theme of Air, delving into the unseen yet powerful qualities of this essential natural element. The project invites listeners to explore the hidden virtues of Air, emphasizing its profound impact despite its invisibility.
Through this thematic exploration, TRANSAERE aims to capture the essence of Air's subtle yet undeniable force, offering an immersive listening experience that transcends genres and borders.

"Butterflies can fly at 3000 meters above sea level and use air currents to travel long distances. But on a less cute note, we've also reached a point where there is so much plastic in that air that we actually inhale nano plastics every day, which sticks in our lungs from our clothes."

Paris-based label @nehzarecords is set to release an 11-track V/A, 'TRANSAERE', melding bass, breaks, techno, global sounds and more.

On 'EZ Tool 2', @lu2k wanted to emulate the same energy of a choppy DJ EZ track. It's a LU2K-shaped tool with dubstep flavours and UK bass bubbling all the way through.

Relentless raver and Rinse France resident RONI launched her first imprint Nehza Records in 2021.

Naming the label after the animated film ‘Nezha Conquers The Dragon King’ by Wang Shuchen published in 1979, the mythical tale resonates with RONI on both personal and artistic levels. 

With an attitude that questions social constructs and inflated authority, RONI’s vision for Nehza Records poses questions about our natural environment through the medium of sound. 

Combining elements of sound with the fantastical flourishes of Suchen’s film, Nehza Records is about raising awareness of our connexion to nature and how we need to protect the Earth.
