For the 113th entry in the Honcho Podcast Series, we have a special recording from one of Honcho's founders. In September 2022, Clark had the privilege of playing the Grove at Sustain Release, a yearly festival held in upstate New York. I was, in fact, born on the darkest day, the longest night (by the graces of gravity and spinning rocks) of our planet's year. 
Inevitably I am on my way home to be with family.
Invariably I have always been on the road.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Each year i compose something new to play while i drive on the dirt road side of the valley, that cathartic pass from Kamloops to Chase (BC, CANADA FOREVER) and on through the Shuswap lakes.
30 minutes.
This is the result of a mission given to me by a friend, 5 weeks of planning and nearly 20 starts.
This is one take. 
This is arranged in real-time.
I play sequencers, synths, lap steel and the mixing board at the same time.
It's what I imagine flying a helicopter to be like.
It's vital to understanding the pacing and phrasing.
Really, it's about a tree, home, a friend, a wife, my parents and time.
I love all of them like a mountain.
