Clint Bestwood & the Mescal Marauders were at their height during the 1980's.  Based in Nottingham the band recorded two EPs.  Merging punk rock with country music they were fore runners for the cow punk and Americana scene in the UK.  This site makes available the few surviving recordings harvested from tape, vinyl and video.

Sing and play guitar and play valve trombone in a salsa band and enjoy a variety of musical genres, majoring on jazz (whatever that is) and Latin.  This place is repository for my in-kitchen w.i.p. self-written stuff (hi-fi dictophone recordings!) right now, just so people who say 'what's your stuff like?' can be directed to it. 'It' is all one voice and one guitar, nothing fancy. Update: not played guitar for getting on for two years, fat arthritic fingers severely limit any kind of deatled work such as plonking on strings on a fretboard. :-(
