Welcome to episode 7 of The Hard Files and my guests are Yorkshire's own Hardcore Heroes Snipes & Murf. A deadly duo since 2012, their workflow and ideas quickly gained the attention from local crowds in their area. After a couple of years making their signature style of UK Hardcore they began to grow and expand, capturing the attention of DJs and artists alike and their sound became a household sound within the UK Hardcore scene. Promoting their unique outdoor event No Man's Land and playing at other regular events, these two like to stir up the crowds and push the hard, euphoric and bouncy styles they are known to make, filling the dancefloor each and every time they play. They have featured on some of Hardcore's biggest and freshest labels including Klubbed up and Contagious Records.

Welcome to the 9th episode of The Hard Files. My guest is DJ Jim. Signed with multiple labels including Rewired Records & The Future of Makina, James is a workhorse when it comes to production of music and also won 2 remix competitions last year and most recently winning “Artist Of The Month” award with the newly formed Underground Sounds group run by the legendary M-Zone. He’s no stranger to dance floors either having pretty much played everywhere in the UK for the best part of 26 years. His unique sounds of Makina and classic Hard Trance separates him from many others.

Born and raised in Brazil, Luiz Fernando Ribeiro aka LuizFribs delivers an energetic, acid and hard-driven live performance through aggressive melodies, heavy kicks and strong basslines, always supported by his violin, an old mate who is present in his life since the early days. His characteristic sound is strongly influenced by 80s synthpop, 90s trance and modern techno, has been out in labels such as IAMT (ESP), Autektone (ITA), Reload (ESP), Nin92wo (BRA) and Trau-ma (POR) and have received great supports from artists such as Ramiro Lopez, Xenia (UA), Deborah de Luca and Anfisa Letyago.  Fribs incorporates the violin into Techno on a very distinctive and unusual way, distorting, looping, stretching and heavily processing it in order to give the instrument a more modern and brutal sound. His live performance is marked by dynamic improvisations, where he feels free to create full tracks on demand, but also to execute his already known and released ones. In 2018, he was considered by the electronic music specialized website Play BPM one of the new highlights of the Brazilian Midwest Techno scene.  Counting on a regular releases calendar, LuizFribs is frequently featured at Goiânia Techno events’ line-up, such as Lost and Found, Shadow and Room Noise. The artist is always working on new tracks and evolving his live performance, and his work is definitely one to have an eye kept.

Rafael Pegorini, natural de Curitiba-PR, iniciou sua carreira de DJ e produtor em meados de 2015. Nas buscas por entregar sempre apresentações memoráveis, Pegorini adquiriu anos de experiência com as CDJ's e também criou o selo Abusive Records.

As atmosferas fortes de suas criações renderam tracks lançadas pela Compacto Records, Ballroom Records (Berlin) e também no VA da Cartel Recordings (Berlin).

Welcome to The Hard Files Episode 15 and may I introduce the Godfather of all things Hard Trance in the UK, M-Zone. He’s pioneered the harder sounds since the early 90’s and is considered a hero to many, including myself. My personal first experience of him was when I was 15 at Dizstruxshon in September 2003 and I were initially a Hard House head until I heard M-Zone and the other guests then it instantly made me a fan of the Early Hardstyle and Hard Trance sounds around at that time. On this episode, Mick plays a full set of tracks that are exclusive to his “Underground Sounds” label/group which are only available to members. Neil Taylor (N.D.T) embarked on his mixing journey in the late 1990s, discovering his passion for electronic music early on, particularly in trance, house, and techno genres. 

He began his mixing career on Technics 1210 turntables, fostering a deep appreciation for vinyl, which he continues to showcase through classic mixes and sets featured on his SoundCloud profile.

With a degree in sound engineering and music production, Neil has spent many years working behind the scenes as a sound engineer for both mainstream and underground companies. 

His experience includes performing live sets for various events and radio stations, where he has supported renowned DJs such as Ben Nicky, Allen Watts and Tilt, among others.

Neil's sets are characterised by a unique style that emphasises progression, atmosphere, and tension, delivering powerful basslines that captivate his audience.
