Neil has been playing guitar for over 26 years with over 1,000 live performances under his belt. His favoured guitar is a Les Paul Custom playing rock music through a valve Marshall into 4x12 cabs with rack pre-amp and effects. Neil started by teaching himself using books and tapes and playing along with records. After playing for 3 years, Neil successfully auditioned for the Guitar institute in London and followed this up with one to one lessons with Adrian Clarke of Guitarist Magazine. 

Neil is also a well regarded guitar teacher and acoustic player and runs NAGM - Neil Allison Guitar Mojo, a guitar learning resource online and face to face.

Singer / Song writer looking for his break! Currently playing in Laces Out! With Edward Beadel on guitar. Also working on a new originals band with Neil Allison from the Sin Babies and are calling it Darc Star. This will be original rock songs in a variety of syles and influences.

Tin Roots are a female fronted Alternative, Dub, Soul Influenced 6 piece band that have been performing together since June 2009.
In such very short time they managed to play at top UK festivals such as Glastonbury, Green Man, Secret Garden Party, Shambala, Beachbreak Live and Ireland’s largest festival Electric Picnic.
In the past, they have supported  Lee Scratch Perry, The Herbaliser, Finley Quaye and Toots & The Maytals at Brighton’s Concorde 2.
