from his seminal album "Everybody Know This Is Nowhere"...upon watching the documentary for "Barn", Crazy Horse speaks of Neil Youngs acquired taste for Onetakes, saying that "on "Down by the River", it was edited maybe 100,000 times in the studio"...where as NOW, Neil does everything in Onetake/Onetry (mainly)...as the skill is displayed fully and captures a moment with intent and Supreme Originality, upon on change, starts perfectionism that does not end. Im a firm believer of this practice, not because of Neil, but the proof in the putting. Its Truth. When I heard of Neil's process, my entire plight made sense...as He is, in my opinion, THE Epitomy of Rock and Roll music.
