About the EP-*
Mahakali (Sanskrit: Mahākālī, Devanagari: महाकाली), is the much revered Hindu mother goddess of time, death and doomsday. 
She is the divine Goddess of the Universe in her most fearful and powerful form. She is also the consort of Mahakala, the god of consciousness, the basis of reality and existence. Mahakali in Sanskrit is etymologically the feminized variant of Mahakala or Great Time (which is interpreted also as Death), an epithet of the god Shiva in Hinduism. Kali and all her forms are the different manifestations of Mahakali.   
Mahakali's origin is contained in various Puranic and Tantric Hindu Scriptures (Shastra). In these She is variously portrayed as the Adi-Shakti-Goddess Durga, the Primeval Force of the Universe, identical with the Ultimate Reality or Brahman. She is also known as the (female) Prakriti or World as opposed to the (male) Purusha or Consciousness, or as one of three manifestations of Mahadevi Durga (The Great Goddess) that represent the three Gunas or attributes in Samkhya philosophy. In this interpretation Mahakali represents Tamas or the force of inertia. 
She is described as an abstract energy, the yoganidra of Vishnu. Brahma invokes Her and She emerges from Vishnu and He awakenes. 
She is the Goddess of time.

From the stars to the stratosphere comes a new injection of energy from veteran duo Local Suicide (@localsuicide). After many years touring the globe and consistently releasing dancefloor crushing tracks the two are launching their very own label ‘Iptamenos Discos’. To ring in the new era they are releasing a new track which was crafted in the 2020 lockdown and will set the stage for what is to come with their brand new label. 

IDI001 is an offering from the dark corners of space bringing together spooky drones and spiralling melodies that hover like an incoming force from beyond. Coming from Greek, 'Iptamenos Discos' means flying saucer. The track features an assemblage of their friends chanting this phrase in 23 different languages which adds a lush blend of vocal layers.

Hailing from Greece, Vamparela and her husband Brax Moody from Germany have gained a reputation for their eclectic works across many genres such as dark disco, new wave, indie dance, EBM & industrial to name a few. They have worked with artists such as Curses, Theus Mago, Rodion, Alejandro Paz, Kalipo, Mijo, Thomass Jackson, Skelesys & many more. 

They plan to continue along these roads of success as the label will represent music in same vain, building on their fruitful past. No doubt a rock solid label to keep your ears and eyes on in 2021 and beyond. During the first lockdown in Tel Aviv, Guy Shaked – also known as Takiru – decided to take his music to other musical dimensions and explore his production abilities in different genres and tempos. The result is “Voices of July”, a colourful EP, featuring three originals and three remixes, in which every tune has its special story and mood. 

Takiru is well known for his previous releases that received support from acclaimed artists such as Moscoman, Jenia Tarsol, Chaim, and many more, and now he is proud to present his debut release on the respected Lisbon-based label Karakter. The remixes were made with love by Rina & Benji, A-Tweed (SXDNS222/FREEDL029) and Tempura The Purple Boy. 

Premiered here, A-Tweed’s version of the most romantic track of the release. In his interpretation of “Je Taime”, the Italian producer brought the love theme to his world, soaking the original into his characteristic weirdness: Distinctive percussive elements and a throbbing bassline yield the danceability, while the ethereal vocals deliver an eerie and erotic atmosphere.

Tulioxi is one of the new great personalities of the Italian Nu Disco Scene. He Has published at least thirtyworks, among EP's, singles and collaborations with other artists.

Tulioxi has established himself as one of the most interesting talents of the new Italian Disco Scene for thelast 10 years. His Works are well respected amid the international community of Indie Disco Artists and hisname has been circulating into the inner circle of DJs and producers from all over the world.

For the last decade, his released music shows how creative and prolific he is, keeping his productions at avery high level in terms of originality and experimentation, and his search for a personal sound isconfirmed in every new work.

He is one of the masterminds behind Cosmic Sumo Recordings and one of the developers of MEFF, theannual Modular synthesizer Exhibition Fair in Florence, tied to the brand Tiptop Audio, one of the mostpopular synth module manufacturers in Eurorack format.

L'attente qui sépare chaque nouveau joyau extrait de la mine d'or personnelle de Degiheugi est un peu celle qui nous tenaille à chaque exil forcé avec l'être aimé : on s'y résout en silence mais on s'abandonne à l'allégresse quand pointent les retrouvailles. Deux ans donc après les cimes gravies sur « Endless smile », un septième sommet discographique s'offre à nous, panorama enchanteur où serpentent seize titres dans les méandres de la relation amoureuse. Une thématique qu'on ne présente plus, mais explorée ici avec une musicalité si saillante et distinctive qu'on ne peut que la qualifier de « degiheugiesque » : les valses du désir deviennent myriades de samples solaires, s'épanouissent dans la rondeur de synthés analogiques hérités de l'âge d'or de l’Edm. Durant l'ascension, vous profiterez ça et là de vues imprenables sur les côtes brésiliennes ou africaines, tandis que les invités du cru vous proposeront des escales en terres ragga (feat. Devi Reed), dans l'intimité d'une splendeur trip-hop (Astrid Van Peetersen) ou sur les traces d'un rap aux apparats princiers (Chill Bump, Chima Anya). Degiheugi a beau louer la légèreté de son art et se défendre de tout esprit de sérieux, cette musique et cet album n'ont de «  Bagatelle » que le nom : ils sont avant tout des passions qu'on étreint.

Munich. 1994. A group buck current trends with a ground-breaking release. Tikitaka by Tamburá left aside the techno of the time to focus on a the lesser known styles of afrobeat and tribal music. The result was three tracks that sail and soar on a primal energy, three works that whisk listeners away to exotic lands of wooden wind instruments, ritualistic vocals and, even, bag pipe majesty. For twenty five years this record has been an unattainable mystery, until now that is. Kalahari Oyster Cult have lovingly restored all three of the trailblazing original tracks alongside two very special remixes. Melbourne’s Tornado Wallace adds new layers of intensity as he cuts and reshapes melodies and beats to set any floor alight with this visionary remake. Dazion offers a very different interpretation. Focusing on vocals, this new talent accentuates the shamanic-like chants of Tikitaka, using them as a base from which throbbing synth lines grow as new depths are explored. An EP every bit as daring in 2019 as it was in 1994.

He awoke feeling wonderful, absolutely fabulous, refreshed, overjoyed to be home, bouncing with energy, hardly disappointed at all to discover it was the middle of May. He almost danced to the fridge, found the three least hairy things in it, put them on a plate and watched them intently for two minutes. Since they made no attempt to move within that time he called them breakfast and ate them. 

Between them they killed a virulent space disease he’s picked up without knowing it in the Flargathon Gas Swamps a few days earlier, which otherwise would have killed off half the population of the Western Hemisphere, blinded the other half and driven everyone else psychotic and sterile, so the Earth was lucky there. He felt strong, he felt healthy. 

He vigorously cleared away the junk mail with a spade and then buried the cat. Just as he was finishing that, the phone went, but he let it ring while he maintained a moment’s respectful silence. Guy Maayan can charm the snake out of any basket. “Yelle O Yall EP” is first offering for Shango Records. These four tracks will guide you to the mysteries of exotic dance.

This cosmic slow disco edit is dedicated to the genius of Fabrizio De André and Mauro Pagani, who arranged the whole "Crêuza de mä (1984), probably the most inspired and remarkable studio album focusing on Italian and Mediterranean folklore (David Byrne, talking to Rolling Stone, named the LP as one of the most important releases of the decade).

"Jamina", an Arabic female name, is a fictional prostitute desired by every sailor in the port of Genoa. The song is deeply influenced in the arrangement by the traditional Algerian raï music.

De André described Jamina as "a refuge, a safe harbour which sailors travelling all over the world for months and months on end look forward to coming back to, even if they know she could potentially destroy them".
