Slow Cycle (@slow-cycle) are very excited to deliver their second EP titled ¨Strong¨ created by Argentine producer Rodrigo AM (@rodrigo-am). In this release he comes to delight us with his very characteristic rhythmics of his groove, leading us to a high level of satisfaction. This EP is composed of two original tracks, to which are coupled another 3 remixes created by artists like. Barko, Umvral (@umvralmx) and one of our boss label Darkbeat. where they mark the course of their creations. The original track that heads this EP, giving the name to this work is Strong. An artistic piece where all the expression of the synthesizers is felt, while you are enveloped by the powerful bass that directs you to a dark voice inside your head. Completing the duo of original tracks, we find Exos, a deep mixture of rhythm and darkness, that guides you again towards synthesized voices that together with the melodies will make you dance without stopping.

Vordergrundmusik revisit Martin Merz’s ‘Vertigo’ LP, featuring remixes from Extrawelt, re:deep, T.Raumschmiere, and Rittik Wystup. After making his debut on Vordergrundmusik in 2017 with ‘Prisma’, Frankfurt-based DJ and producer Martin Merz has remained a regular on the label and returned with his ‘Vertigo’ LP earlier this year. The imprint now revisits the eleven-track album and invites a selection of producers to rework three tracks in the shape of ‘Vertigo - The Remixes’ - welcoming re:deep, T.Raumschmiere, Rittik Wystup, and Extrawelt. Label owner Michael Schreiber, aka re:deep, kicks off the series with his interpretation of ‘Aural Drift’ boasting a vivacious beat and inviting harmonies, leading into the remix from T.Raumschmiere, co-founder of Shitkatapult, who reworks the track into an energetic 135 bpm frenzy. Rittik Wystup’s version of ‘Back To Life’ offers a net of sharp drums and trickling piano tones between striking synth jabs and arcane vocals, before making way for German duo Extrawelt (Cocoon). The duo delivers two powerful remixes of ‘Highlights’, with the cinematic, electro-infused ‘Cluster Buster Remix’ raising the energy once again and driving towards the peak time, before huge 808s and raw synths combine across the escalating ‘Laser Blazer Remix’ to make for a fitting finale to the series.

Lithuanian rising producer Bojarchük presents his debut EP ‘Ugne’
Ugne is a Lithuanian woman name that means fire. Although it has a sentimental value, it also represents the album which is unpredictable just as fire is. The EP consists of four partly experimental original tracks spiced up with analog synthesizers, trippy stuff and strange ideas and two completely unique remixes by Aurum Miles and John Patter.
All the originals are made with fire and love that burns inside, the tracks are unexpectedly different just as fire and its shadows in the dark are. First original ‘Save Sunday for Monday’ shows a mystical trip that takes you to another dimension where you can´t stop dancing, followed by ‘Sauvez I’Ocean’ a great dance floor banger, with metallic nuances and mind blowing percussions. Third original we have is ‘Disharmonic Symphony` a very experimental track, with unusual synths and psychedelic atmos. And for the last original there comes ‘He, Who Watches’ also a unique piece, slow and dark with hypnotizing synths that take you to a dystopic place.

Now is time for the remixes, for the first one we have John Patter with a punchy and hard remake, with sharp synths, drilling mind percs, definitely a dance floor banger.

For the last remix, we have once again Aurum Miles, also from Lithuania with a wonderful reinterpretation for ‘Sauvez I’Ocean’, a remix that shows originality, with catchy guitars, old school vibe synths and a fierce vocal. Enjoy our second delivery of the year!

The mystery around the producer/producers known as the Yum Yum Club continues to flourish with a debut E.P. on Sprechen which promises 'Music For The Rave'. Following the track record of a cracking remix for Paper Recordings and the pretty amazing 'An Acid Love Feel Track' which featured Maria Uzor on Sprechen, this first outing is packing excessive 3am murky basement slammers with a ton of groove & energy that reaches peak face chewing scenes!

Trippy Vocal Track delivers exactly that, a warped up twisted vocal sample wrapped around a twanging style bass with equally as twanging synth stabs alongside fully jacked up percussion & hits that never drops below full throttle!
Equal parts hypnotic - slamming & yes, trippy.

Piano Rave Track does exactly what it says on the rave tin. An absolute HUGE piano sample that's been dug up from warehouse raves of the past that surfs a monsterous bass line complete with hardcore MC asking 'do you understand!?', yes we do indeed...its time to rave!

Closing off the hat trick party is the addition of An Acid Love Feel Track which features Mariz Uzor on vocals. Originally released as part of the Edgy Future Discotheque Vol.3 compilation the track picked up some serious rotation on Radio 1 by Jaguar Worldwide and was hand picked by Jodie Harsh as her Radio 1 'Dance floor Moment'.

For its forthcoming episode, Espacio brings back the seasoned made-in-Belgium duo Marching Machines with their insightful and imperative 'Hymn' EP - and the lads do not come alone: The ace remixes provided by none other than master Damon Jee and the label boss himself are the icing on the cake. Both, by the way, adopted the same 'formula' for their collaborations: Respecting the originals by keeping most of the main elements but adding their widely known characteristic sonorities.

The three originals (Chrome, Empire, and Holograma), in turn, present themselves as a true showcase of both the technique and the creativity of the Machines. Their heavy and dense but highly danceable atmosphere - granted by vociferous acid lines, trippy pads, and a plethora of throbbing synth layers - could be best described as 'darkness meets groove', exactly the kind of soundtrack that we expect to hear when the machines start to march.

Cormac‘s multi-disciplinary Polari Records invites Neurotiker for a new EP Dystopian Romance out digitally 2nd of September.
Neurotiker‘s heavy 80‘s influence is very apparent and present in his productions. Dancing between techno and disco with an underlying retro touch to it, Neurotiker is not afraid to keep things interesting.

On Dystopian Romance;
"I found my inspiration for the EP on Patrick Cowley’s Hi-NRG, John Carpenter’s horror synths, the vocoder, and some old school Italo disco, especially from Intergalactic FM disco fetish radio station “No station such dedication”, in order to achieve heavier basslines and a more raw and darker vibe.
Some of the instruments I used to create these sounds are Roland Juno, Jupiter 8, 808, 606 and Yamaha DX7. I think this EP portrays my passion for music from the 70’s and 80’s to achieve this retro sound I tried to utilise due synths they used in the past."
Based in Rio de Janeiro, Neurotiker has been DJing since 1999 and releasing music for over 12 years now. He has released on labels such as Ritmo Fatale, Melopee, Weirdos, Ulla Records to name a few and with a new imprint of his own coming this year OGIO Records.
