The first track off of Philadelphian Timothy TeBordo (Tinmouth)’s latest greatest  LP cantuitone, “guns love and the cosmos” introduces sandblasted, psychedelic plains funk to the list of genres we never knew existed (or needed so badly). Think: prairie dog dance, fording the fucking river, chickenwire guitars all over the place. The artist explains:

One of the freshest EPs on the British powerhouse NEIN a Records was made with love & darkness in Lithuania. Phun Thomas & Gūzas teamed up for the first time to bring to life an interesting three-track release featuring the intense and vibrant “Running” and two takes of the groovy and upbeat “It’s Time”, the title track: Original Mix and Different Version.

The creative lads debut on Tronik Youth’s (SXDNS050/TAKEOVER001) mighty imprint in high style by showcasing not only their own capabilities but also Vilnius’ spot-on penchant for delivering top-notch Indie Dance/Dark Disco cuts.

Premiered here, the Different Version is, yes, different from the original (🤪) despite presenting many of the same elements. It’s like if they redecorated the living room just by reorganizing the existing furniture and somehow managed to hand over something entirely fresh. The stomping attitude and the acid gait of the theme bring the message that it’s time to stop instagraming or chilling at the lounge area and go back to the dance floor, for fuck’s sake!

Some time has passed since the release of the new track, and in the meantime, a new inspiration emerged: melodic techno with minimal. That's how the new single came about.

New One

After two solo releases on Lovefinger’s ESP Insitute, and two more 12” as Greenvision (his collaborative project with Trent) Juan Ramos graces Berlin’s Cocktail d’Amore Music with a new outstanding EP.
“Incorporeality” and “Liquid Sky Drone” are both vibrant, hallucinating, trance inducing tracks. Full-on sonic layering and unexpected drum patterns compose these two bangers. Multidimensional is the right term to describe Ramos’ music. His futuristic approach, yet full of references from the past, is gaining a strong reputation within the contemporary electronic scene.
Melbourne-Berlin based Kris Baha is on remix duties. “Liquid Sky Drone” becomes an industrial ballad - cinematic and romantic, at the same time bouncing and synthetic.
