Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Khankra’s passion for electronic music started at a young age and has continued to evolve with time. Khankra’s roots have always been entwined in hypnotic grooves, rolling basslines and driving melodies. 

At 17 he purchased his first set of 1210’s and from there began forging a name for himself in the Dublin scene, playing at nights across some of the city’s best clubs like The Pod, the Button Factory, Traffic, Mono, The Chocolate Bar. 

After a hiatus from the scene, in 2014 Khankra had the opportunity to warm up for industry icon, and personal hero, Sasha at The Button Factory. 

Following this, Khankra teamed up with the Melodic Residents and handed the headphones over to some other industry legends during this time, including Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Los Soruba, The Drifter and Guy J on a number of memorable occasions. 

In late 2019, Khankra teamed up with DJ’s Glenn Molloy, Soulfinder and Ger Bozyk to form Fusion Underground. Since then the group have started the Fusion Underground Mix series, which has had some excellent support across the industry and continues to grow.

As we move into 2021, Khankra has a number of Production projects in play, adding to his releases already on Compatible Records. We should also expect to see Khankra and some top acts playing at Fusion Underground gigs in the near future!

PFG The Progcast - Episode 55 - Khankra (St. Patricks Day Special)

Hello everyone, and welcome aboard another exclusive PFG Progcast, the batteries are charged and the turbines are up to speed, time for another top class weekly DJ MIX.

It's a short hop over the Irish Sea today, as we take the series to Brighton! Home to one of Germany's finer exports, todays act has crossed off all the requirements needed to make it successful in todays music industry, and we're chuffed as cheese to get him onboard with us. Ladies & Gents, supplying a taste of the Berlin Underground, please give it up for Markus Saarländer!

Markus exemplifies and expands one of the main roles of being a DJ; to bring beautiful music to those who love it! Not only through his sets, but through his renowned events (Berlin - Brighton), his new label Dino Audio, and regular radio show.

Having played around the world, he established a home in Brighton and quickly took residencies for Hed Kandi and gigs at all the best venues in the city. After creating an impact as a DJ, his aim to bring Berlin themed underground parties to his new home has born fruit, with years of stand out events bringing the light hearted, love filled spirit to the shores of Brighton.

Markus is also the co-founder of United We Stream Brighton which joined UWS Berlin and 90+ other cities in a music movement streaming live sets to viewers at home thereby uniting artists and venues in a global movement of solidarity. It emerged from the past years pandemic as an idea to bring those missing club nights directly into the homes of listless clubbers. Originally focussing on Brightons many talented DJs and producers, and raising money for some very good causes and charities, seeing the cream of the words DJ talent play exclusive sets, that are shared all over the world. Theres more to come, with even bigger projects and countries looking to join the UWS revolution.

Dino Audio is Markus's newly founded record label. Designed to add quality Deep House and Melodic Techno, supported by the worlds best DJs, to having a little fun with .....Dinosaurs! Only 2 years in and we can hear these tracks being played at Burning Man, Mixmag live NYC and many other clubbing institutions.

PFG The Progcast - Episode 58 - Babiczstyle Special

Hello crew, Welcome to another Exclusive PFG Progcast, our weekly mission that seeks out and finds only the BEST in Progressive, Deep Tech and Melodic House, without fail!

As the intro suggests, we've dashed across the border from Germany, and on our first ever visit to Poland, it is only fitting that we make our entrance a big one. He is his country's finest exponent of the music we love, and has over 25 years knowledge in making and playing it. So its with huge excitement, we bring to you an EXCLUSIVE SET, from CREAM!

Cream, also known as Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz, was born in Krakow, and currently lives in Jaroslaw. He developed a fascination for all kinds of music owing to his father. He would inculcate Chris's interest in the music of the Beatles, his childhood, an interest in New Romantic and electropop. During adolescence, Chris discovered his passion for electronic music, which shaped him musically to a great degree.

In 1984, Chris played his first gig using EuroDisco and Italo Disco. Six years later, 
he became a resident DJ at one of the first clubs in Jaroslaw - 
Marashino. It was the place where Cream was able to gain his valuable 
musical experience. Chris also moved onto Trance in the late 90s. In 1996, Chris held a 10 year residency at 'Reno' Club which was the cradle of house music in Poland at the time. During the 20 years that Cream spent in Jaroslaw, he played in almost all of its clubs, also working as a sound engineer, which helped him expand his knowledge. Since 2004, he has played in many clubs in Poland including 'Chilli Club' for 9 years as resident. Cream has also presented his DJ mixes on many radio stations including Frisky Radio, Golden Wings Radio, DI FM, Insomnia FM, and Houseradio.pl, where he is now the Music Director. Since March 2013, he has been hosting his own radio show "Terminal" which covers a broad spectrum of progressive music on Proton!
Together with Deep Fog, Chris formed a duo that shows the passion 
for broadly understood electronic music, which has already resulted in several 
releases on respected labels, such as Proton Particles, Electronic Tree, Soundteller Records. They've also worked remixes for such well-known progressive artists as GusGus, Fernando Ferreyra, GMJ & Matter, Huminal, Marcelo Vasami, Kastis Torrau & Donatello, Sebastian Busto and many more.
Their productions are supported by some highly regarded artists such as 
Hernan Cattaneo, Chicane and Gai Barone.

It's hard to classify Chris's musical style. Presently it's a 
combination of House, Progressive, Tech House and minimal techno sounds. On this exclusive set, Cream includes not one, but TWO brand new tracks premiering for the first time ever! ENJOY THE MIX!

PFG The Progcast - Episode 59 - CREAM

Hello everyone, and welcome along to another exclusive PFG Progcast, our weekly trans-global trek around Planet Prog.

It's always nice to head home, so today were back in Ireland, and Dublin, the birthplace of our next special guest. Now residing in Spain, and with a back catalog as impressive as any producer in the scene today, we are proud to present a very special guest mix, recorded LIVE from his Studio... GuyRo!

With over 20 years of crate digging, and turntable spinning on the odometer, Irish-born, Spanish-based electronica DJ and producer, David, a.k.a. GuyRo is no stranger to the electronic music circuit. An open mind and a fierce curiosity for anything and everything electronic music-based, he has spent the past three decades soaking up a multitude of genres and styles ranging from Detroit techno, breaks, acid, progressive, drum and bass and hip-hop. Today, GuyRo focuses on pushing an infectious fusion of synth-laden electronica, techno and progressive house. Not one to pigeonhole himself into one style, GuyRo's borderless approach traverses the BPMs and moods, you’ll be hard-pressed to argue for a lack of diversity within his sets. A self-confessed slave to the VCO's, he can be regularly found locked away in his cave jamming together ideas and carving out his signature analog synth sounds and groove. With a slew of releases already under his belt, and a constant release schedule in the pipeline, he has set the bar high for his work ethic and continues to dedicate himself to the craft. PFG The Progcast - Episode 60 - GuyRo

Hello Everyone! It is 9.00am Wednesday here in Dublin, our bags are packed and our passport stamped, join us aboard another PFG Progcast!

We are crossing off another new destination today, as the Starship PFG jets into South Africa, and her City Of Gold.. Johannesburg! Our search for talent here didn't take long however, today's act has been on our radar for a while now and he was super keen to be involved with us. Were sure you are gonna love this one, here with an extended set containing several of his own productions. give it up for XABISO!

Born in the City Of Gold , XABISO first dipped his toe into the ocean of electronic music at the age of 14. His initial love was trance music – until he discovered John Digweed and progressive house. From this moment his musical taste moved into a whole new direction.

XABISO first began DJ-ing in 2009 initially keeping it as a hobby. It wasn’t long before his passion for the art took over. As with all true artists, XABISO’s journey comes with a story of struggle. He was initially met with resistance when attempting to get gigs because, at the time, his style of music was not appreciated. However, his perseverance and commitment has paid off and he finally has a platform that he uses to push the sound of progressive house in his region.

In 2018 he started his journey into the world of music production. He couldn’t even play a note or a chord. This caused him to seek out a mentor. Having followed the career of Liz Cirelli since inception – and considering her to be an amazing and talented artist, he reached out to her. Under her guidance and tutelage he has made a lot of meaningful progress in just under three years. He has releases on Flemcy Music, If You Wait Music and Holy Grail music. He also became the owner of Honey Drops (Amber Long’s former label) and is currently working on the upcoming releases for this new venture.
His style is an intoxicating blend of progressive house and techno. He loves to experiment and push the boundaries of his craft, especially as a music producer. As a DJ the influence of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick warren can be heard in his sets.

XABISO’s goal is clear: To keep on pushing his sound and refine his skill’s as a DJ and Producer. We feel he's on the right track!

SIMPLY CITY (Cesar Romero) Began his music career by playing the clubs and raves in his native Santiago, Chile. Afterwards, he toured throughout Latin America, Asia, Europe and North America. Eventually, in pursuit of his DJ career, Cesar ended up with a coveted resident DJ spot at the famous Stereo Montreal, a club well known for one of the best rooms, sound, crowd and sound systems in the world. There, he warms up and also teams up for some of the biggest names in the industry, as well as holding onto his own local nights, with great success.

He has released several tracks and remixes under his moniker, Simply City, on labels such as Sudbeat, Global Underground, Hope, Renaissance, Particles, Or Two Strangers, Proton, Modern Agenda, Mango Alley and more, enjoying great support from Hernan Cattaneo to Sasha, Cid Inc, Nick Warren, Maceo Plex, just to name a very few.....

Over the years he proved himself to be a gracious, humble, kind, workaholic and genuine person.

For today's trans-continental trip, the Podcast heads back south from Canada to the hedonistic hotbed that is Brazil! Always one of our favourite destinations, this beautiful country is no stranger to producing highly talented artists, and its never hard to find a DJ that can turn a party into a carnival! Our act today is no exception, in fact he is perfection! Você está pronto PFG?... its Luciano Scheffer!

Luciano Scheffer is a DJ and producer, born in Brazil whose style varies effortlessly between Progressive House and Techno. His DJ sets, always filled with hypnotic sounds and deep atmosphere have become a mainstay in the wider Brazilian Club Scene. Luciano’s star was born by playing at several parties & clubs like Cercle Brazil where he warmed up for Artbat in 2019, D.Edge, After Derrete 2018(Carnaval), Dedge Festival (2018), Elleven (SP), and River Club (Montenegro/RS). Playing at these clubs earned Luciano the chance to play and share the decks with the best in the business, like Nick Warren, Artbat and Alex Niggeman, to name a few! 

In a relatively short space of time, Luciano  graduated from DJing, and took his experiences behind the decks into producing. PFG The Progcast - Episode 63 -  Luciano Scheffer

Hello Everyone! It's Wednesday, time to strap yourselves in for another Exclusive PFG Progcast. The afterburners are lit, set your phasers to FUN... ready for another blast around Planet Prog!

This week were headed for love in London! Home to a multi talented heroine of house music, our act today has made music her life and passion. Singer/Songwriter, Producer, Performing Arts and DJ! We are delighted to have secured her services, give it up for Ann LoV

Ann LoV is a London based techno producer DJ and singer. Her primary focus are poignant melodies as demonstrated in her track selection, and forthcoming productions. Ann has a strong background in vocals and has released under the names 'Ann Browne' & 'Ann - Jattu' on Synchronized Music, DP-6 Records and Tall House Digital. 

Ann developed a passion and deep love for music early on in life. At the age of 9 she began to write her own songs and learnt to craft harmonies by experimenting with recording her voice using tape recorders and layering her vocals to see how they’d sound. In 1999 Ann decided to take a deeper dive into music and went on to study performing arts, during which time she spent much of her evenings in the music block learning production and writing her EP — a collection of Pop, R&B, and Ambient music. Off the back of her creations, she took part in a number of local festivals and showcases and later joined a Hip Hop collective where she continued to develop her vocals and song writing skills. Then in 2001 she had her first release on a gospel record label, which led to her joining a band where she continued to tour nationally and internationally as well as provide vocals for studio and live sessions.

It was in 2009 that her musical career pivoted towards electronic music, and at that point she began reaching out to music producers in the genre. This led to her creating a vocal sample pack with Lee Howe, house releases with Jake Cusack and Paul Parsons, EDM with K-System, and trance releases with Beatsole and Emrah Barut.

In a bid to further immerse herself in the electronic music world she had grown so fond of, she began to form connections with music lovers, organised club nights with UK Trance Society, managed a number of meetups, and attended myriad music events.

By 2016 Ann had started to miss the live element of music and wanted to perform electronic music live which led to the birth of “Anencee". Performing live once again and delving back into the world of music creation inspired her to make the decision to return to music production as a solo artist, it was then that she added the art of DJing to her repertoire. 
 
In 2019 Ann secured a DJ residency at the illustrious Saturo Sounds Radio, she shortly after appeared as a guest on Christian Monique's  'Seventeen' show [Frisky Radio] and also Erich Von Kollar's show 'Relations' [Proton Radio)] under her former name 'With LoV'. 
 
In December 2020 'Paradox' was released on Saturo Sounds - this was her first international solo release as a producer.  
 
Passionate about fairness for music creators, she continues to develop her knowledge in the realm of music business with a view to set up her own label, release music and perform her productions live - this is her motivation, her dream, her drive, her focus. ENJOY THE MIX!

Martin Sloan AKA (The Big Easy) is one of AATM founding members & also one of the longest serving DJ’s on this ever growing station. You can catch him playing marathon 10 hour shows most weekends alongside the cream of Scotlands DJ talent. Although only DJ'ing for a couple of years, Martin's rise has taken his (and anyone whose heard him play)breath away. This summer see's him make his debut for the well known MITA (Music Is The Answer)where he'll be putting those skills acquired through listening to Pappa, Sasha and Warren, to good use.

 At MITA,  he's scheduled to DJ along side the world renowned Guy J, Guy Mantzur and DJ Ruby no less. As well as that this year see’s gigs in Amsterdam, Ibiza and more in his beloved Scotland. We are half way round the world in no time at all, making a much needed return to India. So impressed were we on our previous adventures, PFG are back for more, in the first of two trips to this beautiful continent.

Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore based music producer/DJ. He has always enjoyed a place in the underground dance music culture. His trademark chuggy grooves and squelchy rhythms are sure to satisfy his audience but there are always a few surprises along the way.

As it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for his musical expedition, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught producer. Drawing his influences from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, Nathan Flake, and Worakls. Being a regular on the charts of Beatport, his music has gained continuous support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Cid Inc., Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, and many more.

He has already made a mark in the underground circuit with releases on Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Kindisch, Plattenbank, Perspectives Digital, onedotsixtwo, Juicebox Music, Eat My Hat Music, Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue, Tarnished Tracks, If You Wait Music, Strangers Beats, Strange Town Recordings, Stripped Recordings among many others. Hello Everyone, its time for another Exclusive PFG Progcast! Join us on our journeys around Planet Prog, searching for serious sonic sounds!

We take a trip over the Laccadive Sea today, as we head south and back to Colombo in Sri Lanka. On our last visit we were treated to a gem of a mix, and this week's return is no different. Pioneering a new wave of Underground DJ's and Artists, PFG are proud to present Shanil Alox!

Born in Colombo, Shanil Alox’s musical journey began at a very young age. His interest in music and production prompted him to learn deeper and find new genres, which resulted in the birth of his career as a young producer and DJ.
His talent and enthusiasm towards music soon began mesmerising crowds, where he gained popularity with his energetic performances across the island at many clubs, festivals and parties. His modern techniques in music inspired immense motivation in people to connect to music, aiming to take them on an emotional journey spreading positive energy throughout the community.

It was in the year 2014 that Shanil began his profession in music production,  since then he has progressively improved in music production through exploration of knowledge and mastering latest technology. His music is well known to captivate listeners who attend his performances.

He has also played gigs alongside George Privatti, Luigi Rocca, Matt Sassari, Kastis Torrau and Matan Caspi, and has collaborated and performed with renowned organisations around the island.

Shanil is a self-motivated, professional musician who endures to attempt in order to keep growing as a dynamic artist, while simultaneously expending great efforts to develop a unique style of Sri Lankan electronic music platform by incorporating tradition and his creativity. He intends to spread positive energy, peace and calmness to admirers of various genres of music.

The Progcast - Episode 51 - Greg Tomaz

Hello and welcome to another EXCLUSIVE PFG Progcast! We've sent our supersonic series back to Russia this week and the home of one of her country's leading DJ's. With a blend of tough Progressive beats and smooth Melodic harmonies in store... PFG give it up for Daria Fomina!

Daria was born in a Moscow suburb and as she got older she continued to discover new facets and explore music, becoming more familiar with electronic music as a listener and then as a DJ and music producer. Her musical inspirations, DJs and music projects who shaped her musical taste are Robert Miles, Radiohead, Enigma, Massive Attack, André Tanneberger, Tiësto, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish, Pole Folder, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sébastien Léger, Guy J and others. In the beginning, she played on several radio stations in different countries and hosted several exclusive podcasts. At the moment, Daria is a resident of Frisky Radio, where she hosts a two-hour podcast. Here Daria invites unique, talented DJs and music producers on her show Oxygen. Simultaneously on DI.FM Progressive Channel she hosts her one-hour show Purple Sky. Her sounds are filled with deep and melodic progressive house combined with melodic techno, tech house, deep house, organic house and adding different shades of electronic music.

Hello Everyone, and welcome to another Exclusive PFG Progcast! Would you believe it, our supersonic mission has circled Planet Prog 52 times already! Yup its our 1st Birthday Podcast piloted this week by a very special guest.

There are very few DJs in the world with the wealth of musical knowledge as our act today. You name it, he's been there and done it. We are proud to call him our friend as well as one of the best DJ's in the business. Ladies & Gents give it up for the one and only.... Steve Parry!

Quite simply, Steve Parry is one of the unsung heroes of the UK’s electronic music scene. With over two decades of experience under his belt, he is without doubt one of the industry’s most respected figures not to mention one of the World’s most underrated DJs.
A working DJ since the age of 15, Steve has amassed a wealth of musical knowledge and honed some serious DJ skills over his time working as manager of the world famous 3 Beat records, a 3 year residency at Cream in Liverpool and a host of headlining gigs across the globe.
As a radio host, his Red Zone show ran for 10 years on Juice FM featuring the hottest new music and regular world class DJ guests. His new weekly show ‘The Warehouse’ on InDemand Radio together with his weekly Selador Sessions show (syndicated to 65 stations globally) continues in that vein delivering the best new music around.
These days Steve is mostly found working on his promotions company - SMP3 Music Management where he sources music for a range of DJs including Sasha, Behrouz, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinenberg and many others. 
SMP3 also has a promo mail out service which regularly features tracks from labels such as Bedrock, Sudbeat, Frau Blau and Hope.
Steve also realised a lifelong ambition recently with the launch of his first record label, Selador Recordings which he founded together with long time friend Dave Seaman in 2013, and is now approaching their 150th release this year.
Inevitably, production has also grown to become a main focus for Steve in the last couple of years with several successful releases and remixes under his belt for the likes of Bedrock, Republik, Hydrozoa & of course, Selador under his belt. 
A music fan at heart, it kind of goes without saying, he is most happy immersed in his number one passion.

Spending his time between India & Singapore, Aman's production's blur the line between electronica, progressive house and deep techno, blending them together in a unique way that is his. The self taught dynamics of dance music for this young musician has started to translate itself into releases, on international reputable imprints such as... Sudbeat, Balkan Connection, Juicebox and Mango Alley to name but a few. The Progcast - Episode 53 - Aman Anand

Hello everyone, welcome along to another Exclusive trip around Planet Prog, courtesy of the PFG Progcast!

For todays set, we've chosen from within, as our ever expanding global rave crew contains several extremely talented DJs that we know can do the business as well as the A-Listers. Our spotlight is on, the decks are ready so PFG give it up for GIDDY!!!

UK born and based in Ireland, Giddy began his journey into electronic music in 1995 when his best friend handed him a cassette tape entitled ‘Music for the Jilted Generation’. From that moment on a rave soldier was born and he began to immerse himself in the vibrant music scene of the time, travelling to various festivals and club nights around the UK. 

While spending two seasons in Ibiza  2000/1 he became heavily influenced by acts like The Prodigy, Leftfield and The Chemical Brothers, as well as DJs like John Digweed, Nick Warren and Sasha, As such, all these different sounds and styles became a big influence on him in terms of his music psyche.

Upon returning home to the UK in 2001, Giddy bought his first set of turntables and started practising mixing the tunes he’d picked up along the way. From this point on began his passion for the art of DJing, crafting eclectic and energetic sets. Over the next few years he went on to play out at local venues and also hosted boat parties in the South West.

Fast-forward a number of years, where changes in circumstances have led to him getting back into the music scene. Giddy quickly became influenced by attending events such as The Soundgarden & ADE. It was at these events he met and became part of an electronic music family thats stayed strong together, all through the lockdown, through online music communities such as ours and other collectives. 

In September 2020 Giddy began his Infectious Company series, which quickly gained interest and a following in his own circles, before a wider audience started to take notice. This  wider focus resulted in guest mix duties for shows on Saturo Sounds such as ‘Nadia Presents’, Lynsey’s ‘Momentum’ and ‘Quarks & Quaaludes’. 

These guest mixes helped Giddy secure his own residency in February 2021, bringing the Infectious Company series on-board with Saturo Sounds. Listen to the mix and expect a deep, progressive journey full of twists and turns, tribal beats, bouncy basslines and melodic meanderings! ENJOY!
