Bronx Traffic
Title for this track is based on my inspiration - Traffic, the English band that was once popular in the sixties, formed in Birmingham[1] in April 1967 by Steve Winwood They were one of my favorite bands, in spite of not having a regular bass player in their first lineups.
This track uses similar Dear Mr. Fantasy form and triad chord patterns and rhythm associated with Winwood’s composition, in the tradition of a recycled artifact of the past.
Although I am Hispanic, I never lived in the Bronx. The Bronx, with a population that is 54.8% Hispanic as of 2020, it is the only majority-Hispanic county in the Northeastern United States and the fourth-most-populous nationwide.
