Prince & The Revolution - How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore Live  Miami Stadium 1985

Overview
The Rebels was the name given to Prince and his backing band during a specific set of recording sessions, from 10-21 July 1979 at Mountain Ears Sound Studio, Boulder, CO, USA (shortly after Prince finished work on his second album Prince). The band recorded nine tracks together. Although the band was Prince's own backing band, songwriting and lead vocals were shared between members, and Prince simply acted as a member of the band. Although some songs from the sessions were later re-recorded and released, no recordings from The Rebels' sessions were released, and the band did not play live under that name (although the band continued to act as Prince's band in live shows).
It is commonly believed that the sessions were intended to produce an album by the group. Dez Dickerson has since said he believed The Rebels' "album" was never more than an incentive for the band, however, rather than a real album idea./                                                                                                                         Line-up

The Piano & A Microphone Tour was the final concert tour by American recording artist Prince.[1][2] In a December 2015 interview in anticipation of the tour, he said that "I’m doing it to challenge myself, I won’t know what songs I’m going to do when I go on stage. I won’t have to, because I won’t have a band.”

The first show on February 16, in Melbourne, Australia, Prince dedicated performances of "Little Red Corvette", "Dirty Mind", "The Ladder", "The Beautiful Ones" and "Adore" in special tribute to ex-girlfriend singer-actress Vanity, who died on February 15, 2016.He also shared memorable heart-felt stories when they were together.

The Sylvers are one of my all time favourite bands. Sylvers albums 1, 2 and 3 especially can be so tough to come by - but I promise you they are essential listening. Deep, moving soul music - with more than a few dancefloor bombs.

There is a dubplate of this and the Golden Lady re-edit knocking about I believe.
