Who goes there,

I don’t know who you are now,
That the gloves are off,
And you’ve got nowhere to hide.

So take these words as a promise,
You’ll not get any more than you’ve had of me,
I’ll not sleep through this longer,
Cos I’ve woken up,
Too many times between your teeth,

And he,
Is a soldier working for his own ends,
He fears the break so much he can’t bend,
And he swears he’s your friend,
But he doesn’t know what that word means,

Who goes there,

Raw and bare,
Like the child you are in your soul,
I don’t know what to tell you,

Old in your bones,
With nothing to show,

Is a wolf if he’s dressed in sheep’s clothes,
That warm blood hides a heart made of stone,

Silent tears,
Like a heart that is weeping blood,
I don’t know how to help you,
Without winding up,
