In "Wild Dog" the flute part is composed, the remainder improvised. The composers are myself and Martijn Schröder, the rest of the improvisation team are Tamhas Buchan, his daughters, Sapphire, Margaret, and Beryl, and David Mollison.  Instrumentation is for singing bowls, music sticks, cymbal, Flute, piano, dramatic voice and viola.  Flutes, Cand G, are played by Johanna Selleck, piano by Martijn Schröder and Melvyn Cann, voice and viola by Melvyn Cann. This piece has been referred to as "Dyslexic Wild God".  Dyslexic. or not, is a tribute to Nick Cave, and to his song "Wild God". He and I inhabit seemingly different musical worlds, but I am much nourished by his work, especially by "The Red Hand Files".  Thank you, Nick!
