Nnabu is making a name for himself as a soulful artist who is grounded in his faith above anything else. Following the release of his last single, "Fall Thru", he's kicking off the holiday season with "Mighty" (Produced by OgaSilachi) a song fitting for the season. The singer-songwriter describes the track as a victory song about overcoming personal struggles and going through life’s roller coaster while always giving glory to God through the highs and lows. "We're only mighty because of the Almighty," he states.
 
Although his Nigerian roots have influenced his music, they do not define him. "I love this track because it shows another side of me. With my music you're going to listen and not know what to expect with each song. It's just going to be my own sound, my own lane and I'm okay with that," he says. "At the end of the day it's about being true to who you are and sharing stories in a way that feels most true to them."


Nnabu cites the raw emotions expressed in soul music from the likes of Ben E. King, Otis Redding and James Brown as his influences. The inspiration is apparent in the powerful chords and pensive lyrics of "Mighty". With the song, he reminds listeners that life is a journey that we sometimes have to push through. In those times the track presses "mighty fallen, praise be to Baba God, elevating higher calling” simply stating the mighty do fall , but praise be to God its not over, we all have a higher calling. It's a good piece of advice to take into the New Year.
