Since their formation in 2013, Detroit-based band I Prevail has quickly garnered a global fan base with their potent mixture of aggressive rock, electronic arrangements, and seamless melodic elements. I Prevail took the world by storm with their recording of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space", which became iTunes' #1 Rock Single, and has sold over 200,000 copies. Their video for the track has had over 12 million YouTube views, and is continually in the top ten on Spotify's weekly chart of the most viral tracks globally. Their self-released EP Heart Vs. Mind hit #1 on the iTunes Rock Chart in December 2014, has sold over 30,000 copies, and is now available via Fearless Records.

Real Don Music, the ongoing decade long experiment of inveterate weirdo and serial bandleader Kirk Huffman (Gatsbys American Dream, Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground, Wild Orchid Children, Co-Producer Portugal. The Man "Censored Colors" etc.) calls upon his copious experiences and influences to channel a horn laden and synth layered psychedelic Trip-Hop & Acid Jazz, Steely Dan on Stones Throw pop sound he confidently calls his own.  Named after the genius singer-songwriter of Sesame Street, the eternally frustrated, occasionally masochistic pianist known as Don Music, Huffman's lyrical themes of light and darkness run thematic to the Muppets wild mood swings.  One of Seattle's most unique and enigmatic acts, Huffman operates as an autonomous force, free from the obligatory and increasingly irrelevant cycles of the music industry, releasing songs and playing select club and festival dates when the mood strikes and flushes out the live act with synths, a trio of horns, drummer, percussionist and turntablist.  Having recently released the first two singles: "Eyes On Me" & "Outlook Not So Good" from the forthcoming & long-anticipated 2025 full length LP "Pet Care: or The Righteous One Takes Care Of Their Animal" Huffman's inventions and visions push the limits of not only how a band can sound, but what it can look like and how it can operate.  Providing lasting relationships with bandmates, industry newcomers and veterans alike, fellow lifer musicians recognize Huffman as one of their own, passing up opportunities to move to Los Angeles, he continues to nurture the local music community that gave him his career and the family that gives him big picture perspective.  Striking album art, compelling videos, tight performances and of course the music, composed and precise: weighted by heavy grooves and driven by moving melodies, together they reveal a Real Don Music as Huffman's latest and greatest gift to a world hungry for the real and much like his current namesake, he's ok banging his head until a creative solution comes loose.  After all, nothing good ever comes easy.  Nor has his story come full circle.  More like a controlled spiral into the unknown with Real Don Music his good as new gold.
