Sprinkling the breakfast
with bubbles, sparklingly fresh.
Bread & butter & what not,
am I coldreading you,
Or loosing the plot?
Baking bread, grinding beans,
slowly rising
From confusing dreams
Don't squeeze that orange
  all over the place!

Breakfast at noon
(Cereals, Continental, Vegan toast)

Pretty soon
we will be back in the room
but now's the moment
to chase away the gloom

Tea, my dear?
There is still time
For now and all tomorrows
This should be the line
That we don't want to cross
before breakfast is done.

And the tears and the fears
are taken in a flash.
And in this time and window,
We can only keep it as it is.

The violin, bowed to sing
a melody, that surely brings
Empathy, energy
To pass it on to those
Who will come in times to come,
To capture music
From the thinnest air.
