Wow, what an AMAZING introduction to lilly for me. This track is so... REAL. Touching, honest, and heartfelt. Focusing on mental reflection and perspective. The lines, "narcissism doesn’t work when you’re the victim anyway, idealism won’t make you a perfect person in a day!" REALLY hit the nail for me. Mental perspective and idealization have been closer to me than ever, so this caught my mind.  Now, about production technicalities and whatever, the structure of this track is PERFECT. The more natural feeling first half with its sound choices and fills, then gradually building on itself, make the main flow and idea placement catchy and memorable.   The vocals sit in the mix PERFECTLY. They come through clear, and their processing gives them this melodic tinge/quality to them which helps establish a particular feel and vibe. (1/2)

Then you got the guitar in the middle as the drums shuffle around, almost sounds like a person walking and taking a skip every other step. It keeps my attention and establishes a new flow and groove. Then the EXPLOSION in the last movement, using a double kick method in order to settle you into the newfound energy. This maintains the impact, but doesn't make anything too sudden. The sub is emphasized within this section, which accentuates the drums and their heaviness. Another thing of note, the filtering of the drums at 2:46 and bringing back the vocals JUST for a moment to sort of "swing" from motion to motion (the heavy drums then a pause, and back into the action.) I also like how the melodic elements are done. The first drop has a sort of "harmonic white noise" quality to it if you will. This backdrop of sound is brought back into the second drop of the project, on full display and force for the listener, and takes me into a complete soundscape, as if I just went skydiving. Then to the outro, the final impact drum that fades out into the last parts of what we here sounds like its glitching out, with the rest of the elements (including the spoken word) doing the same, which reflects back to the soundscape of the intro and ties the song together in the end. Speaking of spoken word, this adds such a personal touch to the story this is trying to tell. From the lyrics themselves taking a genuine approach to a topic (such as narcissism, at least in my interpretation) and the actual spoken word which seems to be addressing a, maybe fictional, figure who *is the* narcissist, it feels like I'm hearing a story be told, a thought process realized, feelings put into words. And its deep, and I can feel the truth that comes from what's said.  All in all, excellent structure, great melodic work, good mixing, and very VERY solid soundscape production with beautiful speech to back it up. (4/4)
