When I was contacted by Daniel to see if I could do a guest mix for his AFT//HR community/ channel, I had no idea about what he tries to do.
 
So, I checked out his SoundCloud page and listened to a few guest mixes and I liked what I heard. It was obvious he is a great fan and promoter
of diversity in music and displaying different approaches to creating meaningful vibes by collecting and offering a variety of mixes by DJ's,
producers and music connoisseur around the world. This resonated deeply with me since my goal in sharing music I love with others is to be able
to offer the listeners sample of works from mostly unknown, up and coming and undiscovered music producers who create magnificent work that needs better
exposure and support.
 
In line with the idea and the theme of "after hours sound" described by him, I envisioned doing something that was more spontaneous and unpolished
than what I usually try to do. The idea that came to my mind was picking a playlist from the tracks that I already have on my phone and then see
what I can do with them. The mix you will hear is the result. The story line is that a few close friends and I coming back to my place way past
midnight after a night of fun, crazy and loud events. I pick up my phone, choose a few tracks I like and create an instant playlist that I think
captures the moment, turn the stereo on, hit "play" and let them chill and enjoy some relaxing moments while I go to the bar/ kitchen to get us
some drinks/ coffee/ tea to enjoy and kick back. Then as the mood is winding down a bit, try to pick it back up and give them a wakeup call toward
the end reminding them the night is not quite over yet!
 
Some tracks on this mix are older or may have been featured in some of my other mixes before. The reason they show up again here is purely coincidental
and only because I felt they would fit in where they have landed in the mix. I hope you like what you hear. Looking forward to hearing your comments.
