6 and a half minutes of raw mayhem, bolstered by Mr Jon Martin on the keys, this is a song about the love of music...when you get a good tune in your head, when you feel inspired, to paste over the shite that the real world has to offer, its astrange world we live in these days. I have a chair. and it is indeed the musical place to be. This rips my throat to ribbons so always saved until the end of a show! Hope everyone is good, sending positive vibes to all, thanks to everyone on here supporting us, it's so very much appreciated ta. Since 2011 Ontal have shaped their reputation as spearheads of the industrial techno faction, and with their sophomore album, they join HANDS in an intuitive liaison: Beats and filth, club appeal and noisy debris are the shared agenda. And yet, the sound of “Amass” is more than a combination, a hybrid of styles, but a coherent flow of dark rhythmic and experimental music that touches the conscience of the industrial aficionado. An album in its classic sense, these 11 tracks offer a lot of physical appeal and substantial bass riffs, as well as a thrilling storyline – an hour of sound that won’t let you go.

With a string of 12” releases and remixes under their belt, Serbian duo Boris Brenecki and Darko Kolar aka ONTAL are surely one of the most requested acts in the industrial techno circuit – which currently only seems to gather more and more momentum. Perfect times for an album with a timeless sound, a culmination point of traditions: “Amass” doesn’t exclude, it gives equal room to the minimal elegance of “First Sign” and the heaviness of “Improvidence”, upfront techno bangers like “Defeated Obstacles” or “Solidification” stand next to the IDM-enriched abstraction of the two parts of “Pareidolia”. “For Industrial People” is like a wonderful welcome gift for the HANDS crowd – and the fastest tune among the lot. Sonic post punk references can be found throughout, like in the clanging metal sounds of “2416”, and the final cut “Pressure Rise Equation” successfully bridges the gap between dance floor and experiment.
The amassed consciousness of a genre, conveyed in an album that will generate massive crossover appeal!

Feast, indulge and have a good suck on the cosmic mystical and magical lollipop which is thought to be an alien bio entity that escaped from a SpaceForce X mission and happens to look like a lollipop which emits irrisistable oddors and secreates special magical enzymes that fuse and intertwine with your dna upon sucking or licking and with only one in existance and its were abouts currently unknown in a sea of lollipops in Candyland ready for the next unsuspecting sucking licker who finds it to be ripped out of this universe and transported to a spaced out original ice cream van fun filled twisting and turning foot stomping positive feeling triumphant electro psychedelic acid rock gaming retro soundtrack journey and ride into the inner consiciousness, through the  workings of time and dimensions with a feeling of excitment and nervous intrepidation at what will happen next but as with all great trips they must come to an end and the powers of the lolly only last so long and then no matter how much you suck and lick, it will never work again and the trip is forgotten for you and thus the lolly is thrown away to wait for another unsupecting tongue to slurp on its goodness!

The Promised Land

Oliver originally sent me his piano track for this tune back in September (3 months ago) and at the time I was very busy and did not have a chance to work on it.

Then another couple of tracks arrived and it was almost forgotten about until now!

Whilst I had some time off work I was working on various musical projects and re-discovered this track 'New Project 100918' and loaded it into my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I listened a couple of times and heard some melodies in my head, which I recorded using some orchestral strings and harmonising guitars. I then added the choir, timpani and ended with a gong - finally adding some drums at Oliver's suggestion.

Oliver's original piano idea had become quite an epic and deserved a suitably epic title, so I called it The Promised Land (evoked by the biblical epic films of Cecil B De Mille).
