Millions of years have passed since the sacred Watchers created the angel and her counterpart in order to restore balance in the world. The Deep Dive brought back serenity, peace and everything that was being held back by imbalance itself. But as time passed, this equilibrium got weaker until the world fell to chaos once again. No memory of the Watchers was left except for inaccurate tales distorted by time, pen and tongue. And eventually, even those tales disappeared as civilizations fell and people forgot.

Until one day, a man discovered one of the Watcher's body resting deep on the bottom of the ocean. As the man neared the body, a droning sound started pulsating louder and louder. Unsuspecting and unaware of the creature's origin and nature, the brave man kept drawing closer, increasing the resonance until the giant started moving. He should have been terrified by the sound and sheer size of the creature, but was not. The last Watcher has woken up. This is the only chance to save humanity.

Matjaz Ekselenski, better known as Neothrope, 
is a 37-year-old Drum and Bass DJ / Producer from Maribor, Slovenia, 
now located in Oldenburg, Germany. 
In early 2000s, he went to a Party called “ Illegal Dimension “ 
by Illegal Kru [ Markoman - 1/2 Telekinesis, Tsunami and Dj Hose ]
where Drum and Bass - Techstep was played and so 
he felt in love with and began the story as a DJ / Producer.
2003, in the beginning of his career, 
Matjaž had an other alias called “ The Koncept “ , 
playing and producing Technoid D&B, 
having releases on labels 
like Wayside Recordings and played on the sides of 
The Panacea, Counterstrike , Matrix, Implant, etc., had
club appearances in Germany, 
Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia. 
2009 he became Father, 
moved from Slovenia to Germany
and this was the time “ Neothrope “ was born too. 
He started to produce deeper sounds,
neurofunk, tech-step, founded an independent 
label named Modular Carnage Recordings
 in 2013 after he suddenly became Tinnitus 
and had a life and health crisis. 
After 8 years of ups and downs he finally got his life handled,he started to Dj and Produce again, 
having releases on Modular Carnage, Tesseract Recordings, Dissected Culture Ltd., Melting Pot, 
Critical Bass , Non Human Recordings, Toxic Loud
and had gigs on the sides of 
Black Sun Empire, Markoman, Typecell, Future Prophecies, Tamas, Cooh, Noisia, Clusta, Icicle, Gridlok, just to mention a few ;
Played Techno for Techno Küche [ Oldenburg, Ger. ]
on the side of Alfred Heinrichs, 
Hannes Matthiessen, Steve Shaden, Wex10, 
Psyko H, Christian Oltmanns, Infinite Void and more.
The live act of Neothrope is full of energy, slapping snares, hard and groovy rhythms, evolving and deep soundscapes, which best describes his sound 
and performance. 
2023, his friend Lapidar invited him to collaborate on a project called Neuro Export Events in Hamburg [ Ger ]
where he is involved as Graphic Designer 
and in Co-Organisation.
His graphic design talents 
are respected by labels like Sinuous 
Recordings, Inception:Audio , 
Modular Carnage and Artists like Nickbee, 
for who he designed the logo and identity. 

Currently he is working on a few new tracks, 
an Album, which is planned to be released in the end of 2024 
and playing several shows in Germany.
