Our goal is to help budding producers, who we handpick, to be able to find exposure and possibly a home for their yet unreleased productions. Instead of us writing about the producers, we’ve decided to get them to introduce themselves, so without further ado here’s the second in our unsigned series:

I’m Johan!
23 years old and just moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. I have been making music since i was around 12, I started out doing Hip-Hop beats and then later came into the electronic stuff. My musically influences is mostly from non-electronic music, I listen to a combination of jazz, funk, disco and rap. This tune feature a bass sample i found on a fusion record, then i started to fool around with a random chord progression and simple laid the drums unquantized down. Lately i have been really into fusion jazz, the more funky side of it and this was my attempt to combine it with house music.

Very focused soulful and club, the productions of Chinau wants to establish a connection between the dancefloor and souls to create a symbiosis full of positive vibes. Thanks to numerous releases on House Running, Snazzy Trax, Lief Records, GLBDOM and De La Groove Records, Chinau continues to convey values ​​of tolerance and sharing through his music because life is beautiful.
