Tastebuds teased. Senses seasoned. Long-time friends Fernanda Arrau and Balam collide once again. This time making their debut on Pets, they proceed to refresh our palates with a whole new set of sonic spices. 

Taking off where they left us on United Colors Of Rhythm with Baila, the longstanding Spanish/Argentinian connection serve up 'Sabor A Disco'. Translating to disco flavours, it lives up to its name with a whole bombardment of acid spices and techno aromas. Slow roasted for full hypnotic effect, your dancefloor will be chewing for hours on this one. 

It's backed up by the equally tasty 'Dinho'. A hearty percussive strew of South American instruments, marinated in fiery Latin heat, it's another high energy example of the two producer's skills and strengths; Fernanda brings her warm, emotional grooves while Balam brings that driving momentum and weight. 

For added measure, and a very sweet final course, Musumeci brings an enlightening remix twist to 'Dinho'. Also making his debut on Catz n' Dogz label, the Italian techno trooper brings a completely different twist to the track with a breakdown that will leave you hungry for more. 

Flavours don't come much fuller than this. Bon appetite!

A military paramedic Kateryna Polischuk with the call sign ‘Ptashka’ (Bird) sings an Anthem of The Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists "We were born at a great hour" (1929) during the bombing of the Azovstal plant by russian troops, Mariupol. The song raised the fighting spirit of the soldiers of the AZOV battalion.

'Sentimentalist' phrase from "Tango of Death" (1991) film used, directed by Oleksandr Muratov based on Mykola Khvylovy story about the political repressions of the 20s in Ukraine. Directors had to shoot films on topics important to them, regardless of the threat of being sentenced to prison, or even shot. Ukrainian cinema has always been distinguished by its poetics, sentimentality, sincerity and experimentalism, there is a tendency towards metaphoricality and allegoricality in understanding reality. Dedicated to the talented sons of Ukraine who gave their lives in the struggle for a bright future.

Аfter quite continuous break, Khvylia label presents a new homemade mini-compilation “Khvylia²” , created by 5 musicians during their stay on residency in “Khvylia” sanatorium. Title name of the compilation was a result of wavy and relatively calm creative labor in cognominal location.

Magical golden season in autumn, in between September and October, or as it is called in Ukraine “babye lito”, limited 2-week time far from Kyiv and a group of 20 artists became a catalyst of inspiration, which resulted in 3 tracks that were born in collaboration of musicians on vacation.
Pool, sauna, salt room, sport and fresh air affected the tracks' recording speed negatively. Although, it affected quality in a good way.

Whimsical story about feeling soil under the feet right in between the ocean military chaos had its own fingerprint in each of the artists' tracks. Environment gave an opportunity to finally reflect events around and shape a musical form out of it.

Part of the funds from Bandcamp would be redirected to victims of residential house attack in Dnipro.

Back then, Anklav's beats were a rare stuff in Kyiv, so they quickly blew up on the local scene.
But when the russia started bloody war in Ukraine, Anklav's party days came to a pause. So, the founder of the label decided to pivot the project and transform it into a full-blown music label.
