Uplifting Only 026 (with Vocal Uplifting Trance) (August 7, 2013)

The debut production from Trance duo 'Oxygen' which is a rework of the Paul Van Dyk classic 'For An Angel'. The reason we went for a rework is that Paul is a complete legend to us and we love this track, so wanted to create something up to date for our current sets, yet still keep  the feel and energy of the timeless classic original.

Oxygen are uk DJ/Producers Touchstone and Cliffy Burrows. Enjoy the remix :)

To Armin van Buuren, the sound of music has become a natural high, a sanctuary, and the stimulus in life. With each year of his career passing, his role in electronic dance music has become more important. If anything, he inspires music lovers with his weekly radio show. Based on that show, is the annual compilation series, loved and anticipated by fans, music lovers and dance addicts. So here it is, A State of Trance 2014, mixed and compiled by no one less than Armin van Buuren.

2014 is going to be a year to remember for the Dutch DJ and his fans. My creative juices were flowing with the Christmas spirit recently and I decided to compose and record a Trance version of "Silent Night." Please let me know what you think. This is the Club Mix, so it's a bit longer and easier to mix into a DJ set with a longer intro and outro. This song has recently been used on a UK Christmas Gifting TV Advert and is now on Spotify too.

It seems inconceivable that it took Los Angeles based label mates and friends Christopher Lawrence and Jonathan Allyn over ten years to get into the studio together – but it was well worth the wait. The Daniel Lesden Remix completely reworks the original into a lush and technically impressive progressive psy track that creates a completely immersive world of its own.

‘Shelter’ is yet another breakout single from Dash Berlin’s “We Are (part 1)” album, the track is carried by piano, Roxanne Emery’s powerful vocals, and minimal but brutally effective instrumentation. The freshly baked remixes by ‘MaRLo’ and ‘Photographer’ both translate this beautiful ballad to the dance floor. Goosebumps? You better believe it!

One of our most loved tracks of the year has to be the excellent ‘Incomplete’ by Dart Rayne &amp; Yura Moonlight and Cathy Burton. With its driving beat, beautiful breakdown and hands in the air madness we think the Trance Community agreed as the track charted well in the Beatport Trance Top 100.

Imagine how excited we were then to hear that none other than Allen &amp; Envy would sign up for remix duties! When the UK boys combine with a DRYM track magic seems to happen: their remixes of ‘Silhouette’ and ‘Stole the Sun’ charted incredibly well and received a huge amount of support on radio shows and live sets especially from the man himself, Armin van Buuren.

This is DEFINITELY one to check out.

Neptune Project - A duo consisting of Dan Willis and Jules Moyce are creating their own legacy in trance music with not only their unique vintage production sound, but also due to the global demand of their extended sets.
