The Gentle Sex is an electronic, experimental music project/group.
A mixture of field recordings, experiments and tape loops, with synths, voices, bass, drum beats and occasionally spoken word.

Formed by Alistair Savage and Andrew Matchett in February 2009, around for less than a year, Cavemen that get Sad was a (mainly) instrumental duo with Alistair playing most of the guitar parts and Andrew supervising production and programming, and playing bass guitar.
The duo were based in Liverpool, England.
Andrew was born in Preston, England on 04/08/80. Alistair was born in Horsham, England on 23/07/74

Ike Thomas, Modern Sky’s newest arrival, released his latest single "Here’s To You" on 20th August. A familiar face in Liverpool’s spirited music scene, Ike began his journey busking in Sefton Park and since began hosting his own open mic nights to share his knowledge and courage with the younger generations, giving them the same chance he had to play for the first time. His dedication to the scene has since seen him become a celebrated fixture of the city's gig circuit.

Weaving his spiritual upbringing with a generous helping of vulnerability, and casting reflections of folk artists before him, Ike is carving out his own evolution of the genre. A nuanced style of humble story telling of the self and others he’s met along the road. His trademark voice, low and softly spoken, along with the music’s persuasive drift, instil a sense of warmth and invites you to jump in and surrender to its undertow.
