A few years ago, Moby (born Richard Melville Hall) decided that it was time for a change so he packed up and moved from his beloved New York to sunny LA. This fresh, new outlook permeates his 11th studio album, Innocents. One day, as the story goes, he was riding around town listening to “Morning Becomes Eclectic” on local radio station KCRW, and he heard a Damien Jurado song come on the air — and the rest is history.

“Originally, ‘Almost Home’ was a fully finished song,” recalls Moby. “But I love Damien’s approach to melody and lyrics so I gave it to him as an instrumental. What he did was much better than anything I’d come up with.”

A few years back my mother, Rose, fell in love with another man, Klaus. It was an amazing love story ... and it was so cute and funny to see my mother behaving excited like a teenager. 
Unfortunately their love soon was shaded by tragedy, as Klaus became terminally ill and so both just had a short time left with each other. Nevertheless they made the best out of every single minute left for their passionate and deep love until Klaus finally died holding Roses hand. 

I created this piece in memoriam of Klaus and dedicate it to Rose. May the light still shine for you!

I ♥ Nicole Chen™ - Hardcore Overdrive Power V1

Hi there!

A little background on the song itself is that it is a slight adaptation from Overture No. 3 in D Major by Johann Sebastian Bach written somewhere around the year 1720.
The title “Air on the G String” comes from a violinist somewhere around the 1880's that made a nice arrangement of the piece and by transposing the key from D Major to C, allowed him to play the piece by only using one string on the violin (the g string).
So I'm calling this “Air” I suppose. (This arrangement is not all on the G string and I put it back in the original key of D Major.)
It's one of my favorite classical pieces and I decided to do the 4 parts using the Ebow on each.
