« This mix reflects my attraction to mental and percussive sounds. Starting slowly, I explore variations in energy flows, shifting between deep mental grooves, deconstructed breaks, and lighter tracks with melodic layers. Inspired by recent psychedelic, hypnotic, and cavernous sound designs, my aim was to build a gradual mental tunnel, oscillating between rhythms. All original tracks are a source of inspiration; hope you enjoy listening! »

Tentacular 18 ~ Tewo Rina

Staccato, evaporating textures and rippling tendrils course through this set from Seoul-based K.O.P. 32, comprised entirely of unreleased productions and live improvisations from the Beyond the Bridge label head. Channeling the producer's tremendous body of released work and offering rare insight into his ever-evolving practice of subconscious exploration, this one commands an undivided attention and rewards in equal measure as it meticulously picks apart the layers of the mind.

Mental and hypnotic, this is what best defines Onohno’s music, which always seeks to create bridges between different genres of electronic music.

Drawing inspiration from both deep-techno and the club techno scene, as well as the free party tribe, he develops a hybrid, abstract aesthetic of electronic music, oscillating between erratic, mechanical rhythms and organic, percussive sounds with the aim of taking the audience on a psychedelic, immersive and disorienting journey.

With this in mind, he founded Akalara, a soundcloud podcast series and label in which he invites emerging artists to propose and promote their vision of this psychedelic, experimental music.

Oath's musical roots lie in dark, visceral sounds. His attraction to aesthetics combining percussion, hypnotic rhythms and symbolism naturally brought him into contact with the EWO collective. During his sets, he strives to tell a story that evolves with the emotions he seeks to convey.

His productional oeuvre covers infinite tempos, lengths, and moods, which he manifests through his OQAD imprint and releases on labels such as Omen Wapta.

In this mix, Loek takes on a mind tickling trip both for the mind and body. Whether it’s IDM, techno, drum-and-bass, or breakbeat, Loek manages to fuse an unmatched sonic spectrum into a distinctive aesthetic at the collision point of the organic and mechanic, with a sound design through a razor-sharp minimalistic scope.
