KRS one once said “if hip hop had the ability to corrupt young minds, it also has the ability to uplift them” this one quote troubled me growing up due to the fact I liked music with a negative message and positive message . I always felt I had to choose one style of music and stick to it, then I realized this genre called hip hop came from a collection of other genres and stories that make it the culture it is today. Growing up I was raised by a hard working mother and at times I would spend time with my father side of the family that was living a life of crime. Growing up in both environments I was able to see the negative and positive in every life choice you make. Being a black latino from Brooklyn new York I  was inspired by musical artist like Michael Jackson, Eminem, ludacris, busta rhymes,big pun, 50 cent, missy Elliot, vybz kartel, tego calderon, biggie smalls, nas , jay z,immortal technique, nicki minaj, and dmx. I fell in love with hip hop and I became a lyricist. To test out my skills I began battle rapping in the streets, and after destroying competition I realized if I stood in the lane of only battle rap people would not take out time to support my music. So I decided only to battle for major exposure. As a artist I believe taking a piece of each music genre to create my own sound. My music is full of catchy hooks, wittiness, stories, energy, shock value, controversy, and lyricism. Unlike other artist of the day I prefer making controversial conscious music with an edge speaking on politics, conspiracy, religion, racism, gun violence and catchy funny club bangers that attract the youth. By making music like this I have come up with my own concept where I battle myself creatively called nonsense vs. conscience, when I approach you with my music I ask what you would like nonsense or conscience giving the listener a choice of turn up music or music to feed your mind. I’ve always believed nonsense is more attractive to the listener and once I have their attention I give them music with a message. I make timeless music to leave a impact on this world and to my listeners. So tell me what your choice is Nonsense or Conscience.
