Dave1's effortless vocal work that always feel as cool as it sounds, paired with the incredible melodies and instrumentation from Gemayel these guys really crushed. So when we were contacted to remix Jealous we honestly felt like we had a song that we felt could be as big as Daft Punk's, Get Lucky . After it was said and done, we were so happy with the remix we created. It gave the song that house dance feel, but didn't feel forced at all. The song seemed to have this great level of space and pacing and nothing felt unnecessary. The more we produce the more its about doing more with less, and this for us nailed that theory. Quickie From US- "We first discovered Josef Salvats music with his single Hustler about 18 months back.... The song was so authentic and emotional and his voice was alike nothing we had heard. We did some research and found out he was quickly signed and we were sure it was only a matter of time before this guy was doing Sam Smith things. We had always wanted to remix his work but to be quite honest we thought we would write and he would just say no hahah... SO when we heard open Season we fell in love all over again. His unmistakable voice and haunting yet oddly uplifting lyrics... We decided to grow some balls and reach out, well not us we used our manager as cover... Sorta like sending your ugly friend over to find out of a girls single...! To our surprise Josef was totally down and we got the stems As you may have noticed lately we have been on a downtempo kick. Made its the food we've been eating, or weather but we have really enjoyed making this alternative tracks to our usual remix style. For us its important to go left sometimes as experimenting with new styles and sounds really opens up our creativity and thats certainly was the case with this. Anyway we ended up with this wonderful downtempo track that has a lot of organic sounds in it paired with the synths. We sent it over to Salvat and Co. and they loved it! Nothin feels as good as getting the thumbs up from an artist you really admire! ENJOY"

We’ve been supporters of TWRK since their beginnings so it only seemed right to sweep up their first EP. “Helicopter” is one step ahead of their biggest tune to date, “Badinga.” It’s got a vocal drop that makes panties drop and that’s all that you need to know. “Dump It” is a different type of tune for TWRK. Denver-based producer Illenium (aka Nicholas Miller) has linked up with NEST for the release of his latest single, “I’ll Be Your Reason”, out today, June 8th. Falling somewhere in the vast realm of future bass, the new single sees Miller harness his superlative ability for melodic production, utilizing hazy vocals from Irish songwriter, EDEN, for a moody, downtempo jam.

“I wanted to surprise people with this tune and show that music can both be beautiful, complex, and diverse all at the same time,” Miller explains. Complete with fluid textures and incisive hip hop percussion, Illenium creates a gratifying juxtaposition of floaty atmospherics and assertive, bass-heavy hits that highlights the rising producer’s multifaceted approach to his craft.

Quickie from us: "So its really great when coincidences and fate find each other, because that is what happened… We absolutely were in love with this summer anthem by smallpools, it reeked of fresh cut grass and the afternoon sun... So when their ppl reached out to us about doing a remix it was the easiest decision ever. We can't say it wasn't a challenge though with such a strong vocal, but we really wanted to pin it up against the classic 'house music pluck' we have been hearing so much of, but use it in a vain that felt a bit different but still large, but finding that union was tough in the sense the two had to warm up to each other rather than clash... but in the end we think we found this great atmosphere for the song to exist."
