Aphonic - reality check!

'Tonalica' is an odd song where I took the tonality concept to a new level. Here you'll witness different microtonal scales simultaneously: basses in 12edo, leads in 19edo and the classic phasery chords in 31edo, being played harmonically at the same time. Although it was a tad challenging to make all the melodies fit together in different scales, I liked writing in that way, as if the track had its own charm.

What was previously like a blank painting board, now it feels like an empty garage for a big sculpture. There are no limits for tonality, and I wanted to prove this here.

Take this song as a teaser of what I want to bring for this year, and the next ones as well.
