The Music Phoenix came to be from the concept of "new and used" music. We wanted to create a music blog that offered music that was brand new as well as music that had been released for a while. We noticed that music was often overlooked after it was initially released - most music blogs really want to talk about what's up and coming! We want to do that AND go back to our favorites. Hence, the Phoenix... a mythical creature that burns up and is reborn anew.
