"Less is More" was written and performed by John Kline.   Acoustic guitar was a Taylor 814 through a pair of Rode NTKs.  Lead electric guitar was an Ibanez PM1000 through a Mesa Boogie FormulaPre, Mesa 50/50 amp with 6L6s, Reyes tube tamers, Eminence Delta Pro 12as in a Seismic Audio stereo 2X12 cab, and a pair of Shure SM57s.

A song about the good things from the past that we'll remember. Some things are never getting old. And good music ist here to stay...

I started with the chords in the middle of the track. Then i added the drums (some really good Linn Drumm samples) and it became good. But it wasnt perfect yet. There was something missing: the lead synthesizer! I tried to come close. I think I am. I made one by myself with cubases retriologue and doubled it, with a reaktor instrument from the user library (a Jupiter clone). So its the best from two worlds. Old and new. But listen for yourself. And give me some feedback. Repost if u like it.
