Australian duo Alex Preston and Mo’Funk return with the third installment of their hugely popualr Secret Weapons series on Robsoul Recordings. Building on the success of Volumes 1 and 2, which delivered club favourites When It Comes To Love, Let Me See You Work, and Zone, the pair continue their funk-fuelled House mastery with two fresh dancefloor-ready joints.
The latest chapter, Secret Weapons Vol. 3, is packed with their signature blend of grooves, and they lead the charge with Movin’ Up – a horn-laden, disco-tinged bumper with infectious sing-along vocals. Complementing is Twang, a perfect party-starter with slick guitar licks, irresistible bongo rhythms, and a low-slung bottom-heavy bassline.
Fans of the series have even more to celebrate, as those favourites from the first two volumes, alongside Movin’ Up, are set to feature on a limited-edition vinyl release, ensuring these muscular-funk hits become timeless collector’s pieces.
