*****Sophia Saze*****

Commençant un voyage créatif dans ses années de formation avec une formation en musique classique et en danse, Sophia Saze sera plus tard engouffrée par la musique de danse électronique. Née à Tbilissi, en Géorgie, Saze a trouvé à Brooklyn la maison parfaite pour plonger plus profondément dans ces sons en lançant sa soirée (et son label depuis 2017) Dusk & Haze. Sophia est actuellement basée à Philadelphie, où elle a passé ses premières années. En tant que productrice, sa polyvalence musicale puise dans une horde d'influences de genre, allant de l'électro au krautrock, de l'ambient à l'industriel, et de l'acide au garage - montrant sa gamme complète et sa fluidité en tant que musicienne.


*****Tresor Beriin, 30 ans d'activisme*****

Il y a 30 ans, un an après la chute du mur de Berlin, à minuit, le 13 mars 1991, une porte de sous-sol s'est ouverte. Par cette porte, beaucoup sont passés, en route pour définir de nouveaux terrains dans la musique électronique. Ils y ont trouvé une piste de danse dans les voûtes de la chambre forte d'un grand magasin accolé au mur et abandonné pendant la guerre ; la piste de danse du club Tresor et son son unique enrobé d'un brouillard dense, construisant nuit après nuit une histoire qui était aussi une vision de l'avenir. Un espace où les jeunesses de Berlin Est et de Berlin Ouest se sont réunis, en bougeant aux sons de la Techno.

Depuis lors, le Tresor a permis aux artistes de développer leurs idées de nouveaux sons avancés et de les diffuser dans le monde entier.
Du collectif de Detroit Underground Resistance, ouvertement politique, dont l'objectif était d'offrir aux Noirs américains de la classe ouvrière la vision d'un avenir meilleur par le biais de l'action communautaire et de la musique, à Jeff Mills, le magicien des platines, en passant par Juan Atkins, l'initiateur de la Techno, et le mythique groupe Afro-futuriste obscur Drexciya, les pionniers qui ont été les premiers à traverser la connexion Detroit-Berlin et à être à l'avant-garde d'un nouveau mouvement culturel ont donné à Tresor sa mission originelle et continue : la communauté, la résistance et le changement du monde à venir.

30 ans plus tard, Tresor est installé dans le Kraftwerk - la cathédrale post-industrielle abandonnée et réutilisée qui servait autrefois comme centrale thermique du centre de Berlin-Est. Le bâtiment accueille également l'audacieux festival Berlin Atonal et OHM, le club intime dédié aux formes les plus aventureuses de la musique électronique.

It contains tracks in many of my fave electronic music styles (ebm, techno, electro, trance, rave etc) including many released and unreleased tracks by my talented friends, that I'm super grateful for. Georg Stuby is a Berlin-based electronic artist with a dubbed-out, housey flavour. At the age of 22, after a near-death experience, Georg faced the existential question: What is life? His answer: Music.

Born in Berlin Sarah has explored different styles of music throughout her life. Coming from a musical family Sarah learned to play various instruments such as the piano and the saxophone which takes part in her live performances. With almost a decade of playing this instruments Sarah started her first music project at the age of 19. In 2017 she started to discover the world with her own project 'Sarah Wild'. In 2018 she started to produce music with Georg Stuby. Sarahs love for melodic, deep and dreamy sounds fuses with the forward thinking minimal- house root from Georg Stuby.

With his roots deep in the Copenhagen DIY music scene Joachim Palsby, aka DJ TOOL, has been playing and collecting different music for more than a decade. After many years of playing punk, metal and electronic noise music, he slowly developed an interest in techno and trance. For years he has been roaming the international dance floors as a loyal dancer, and ended up behind the booth with the skills of all vinyl Djing. DJ TOOL is a classic example of a DJ that merges directly from the floor to the booth. He is the Co-organizer and resident DJ of Mala Junta. Mala Junta is a smaller intimate party with focus on old school, faster and harder techno and trance that is merging in Berlin. The party quickly became among Berlins most recognized parties for its special music profile. His sets are an authentic and always well executed blend of sexy techno and gloomy trance. The sound is old-school, hard and fast but always funky and uplifting. With a passion and expertise in longer sets, his closings are highly recommended.
