The young scientist takes us here in his first "Méharées". These long raids on camelback, interested in nature, cliffs, sand, scorpions and snakes. Vegetation both rare and precious, his music has taken, as if by mimicry, the characteristics of the desert: dry and hostile. Philippe Toussaint knew how to restore the magic of its horizons, which unfolds endlessly, and where DJ Ungel sails there as on a sea.

Acid Freq. - A2. Confidential Meeting

On 26 February, hundreds of Israeli settlers went on a violent late-night rampage in Huwara and other villages in the northern West Bank, leaving one local resident dead and 100 others injured and the town ablaze.

This compilation of music was put together in order to raise funds that can hopefully give some aid to the residents of Huwara, all of the proceeds Confused Machines make from digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il An NGO that works in the occupied Palestinian territory, promoting Palestinians' right to health and providing direct medical and humanitarian assistance.

The compilation hosts a roster of both local and international artists spanning a wide spectrum of leftfield electronic music. Acid, Drone, Noise, Downtempo, Techno, SoundCollage and more.
All of these tracks are new and have not been heard before, many of them have been created with Huwara and Palestine in mind.

Though we know our reach is limited, we see this as a part of a bigger political effort to help raise awareness in our artistic circles and set motion to positive forces in dark times.

Moonwalk X Records have insanely productive Pieter Kock of Berlin’s OTannenbaum serving up an album full of polyrhythmic collages, hovering ostinatos and explosions. General aesthetics of sound: flying marble in an underground scenario totally overground. Planet of the Superapes, being a soundtrack of now, is composed of the following chapters: 
Night Clubs: hard grooving eight and a half minutes, gently topped with cosmic synths and distant choirs. Phillipines: strings and weightless vocals telling of hope and loneliness over a driving beat. Oedipus Listen: euphorically floating atmosphere. ecstasy. Planet of the Superapes: title track: dark, ghostly, naked, melancholic, dramatic. With a good pinch of optimistic fun. Page 25–30: total apocalyptic drama, agressive rhythm. 
A warm and inviting yet alienating record for an interesting summer. 300 pressed.
