Radio Sofa Mega Mix [closing] (Radio Sofa @ HORS-SOL Festival 2025)

RIGO navigates the margins of the club, where textures thicken and tempo takes its time. Influenced by old school body music, hypnotic techno and rhythms steeped in a subtle tension, he crafts sets that are both deep, organic and filled with contrast. His selections unfold slowly, balancing restrained melancholy, obsessive percussion and more spiritual inclinations. There is no forced climax, only a continuous progression designed to induce a physical and mental state of trance.

Malfunktion by Kinay is driven by a strong, relentless rhythm – precise, hard, almost machine-like. Yet above this raw energy float soft pads, acting as a counterweight: warm, breathing, fragile. Between these two poles unfold glitches and disturbances, fragmenting the sound without ever fully breaking it.
What emerges is a constant tension – a balance of control and chaos, structure and drift. Each repetition carries small fractures, each detail feels like the echo of a larger disruption.
Malfunktion is not an outburst but a process: a state of endurance, of being continuously propelled forward. Rhythm as engine, pads as breath, noise as the reminder that perfection is always fragile.

OHBE (Ohm Town) is one of the places where I’ve had one of the most comfortable and beautiful experiences with how music can sound. Crystal-clear, warm, and crisp ; the kind of speakers that let you truly feel and rediscover your music.

It was the first day of August, on a delightfully gentle morning, during which we spent three hours travelling through emotions and juggling with energies.

This mix is one of the most sincere I’ve recorded in a long time. A set where I felt deeply free to connect with my inner emotions, and with the crowd, thanks to the intimate scale of the venue.

It was recorded live at OHM.Town on August 1st, 2025, during the afterparty of our HORS-SOL gathering, held the same day at the wonderful Macadam venue in Nantes.

Two collaborative tracks and a solo track each showcase their shared tastes, blending al dente’s intricate percussion with explicit joy’s evolving modular leads. Squelches and warps give way to tonal surprises and vocal zaps, twisting familiar shapes into something constantly in motion. A playful detour that is the result of their distinctive styles coming together.
