On April 21, 1966, the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, King of Kings of Ethiopia, Elect of God set food on the ground of the island of Jamaica and the world was changed forever. For 100,000 Jamaicans, God had come to them that day. Today we honor the culture that has sprung forth from that defining moment in history.
