Après plusieurs années à tâtonner artistiquement, je suis fier de vous proposer aujourd'hui le premier coup de pelle du long tunnel que va être mon nouveau projet : Neuron No.3 🧠

Ce set est une courte introduction à la direction artistique de Neuron No.3 : c'est breaké, c'est deep, c'est bass, et surtout ça n'arrête jamais de creuser ⚒️

Digging down to the depths

A few days ago I played this set in a very intimate place. For the first time I fully assumed my artistic direction in front of a crowd, and I'm really happy I did. I think my artist name makes more sense now. It was hard trying to share the full range of my spectrum in a tight hour. I also played later than usual, so you'll probably get an extra dose of new neuronal connections listening to it. Now that I did it, I think I feel safe playing at any timeslot.
Last but not least, it was the first time I played a set travelling trough that many genres and bpms without preparing it, and I think there won't be any turn-around from here.

Neuron No. 3 (@neuron_no3) est DJ et fondateur du Gateway, un micro-festival qui cherche à conjuguer une expression artistique pointue avec une expérience festivalière complète. Il nous invite aujourd’hui à explorer ses influences issues de la bass music.

Une heure d’exploration, entre lignes de basses profondes et conflits de textures. Une composition entre dub, downtempo et dubstep, dans laquelle les motifs rythmiques semblent cadencés pour réguler le chaos.

As a young artist crafting musical projects, Neuron No. 3 developed a singular love for Berlin and its sharp approach to art and social experiences.

Now based in Lyon, he showcases a forward thinking set at the intersection of his French and German influences, pushing techno to the edges of hybrid bass music. The outcome is a deep, dark and mental sonic experience, navigating through various rhythmic landscapes.
